You can make the trunk lid in two parts. When the opening handle is pressed, it folds outwards from the middle. The lower part remains attached to the body and can be opened upward with pneumatic power, allowing the rear trunk to open easily even in tight spaces.

It's a good idea but I think the problem comes from the shift selector detent piece, where there is binding with the shift forks, I did find it's best to set the case to 4lo then install the low gear and forks and spindle, and everything else. Scrutinize everything, I had a bad 4lo synchro.

I've been trying to imagine the interior.....I'm guessing you already have a plan ?....... while I was watching I had a picture of a virtical steering column , coming straight up from the floor....I was thinking futuristic and then old school hotrods , somehow a combination..... like stepping into a time machine, a complete reverse of the futurist exterior, but with your signature led backlit ideas......
