    My favorite part of this is how you show that when one thing doesn’t work, you try something different to make it work. Most build channels I’ve seen most likely edit this parts out but the way you kept those clips of you changing out or redesigning a certain component shows the true nature of engineering and experiments, trial and error

      Given that this all adds alot of weight the MPG is going to go down quite a bit so he would need to add a bigger fuel tank as the tank on the kymco agility city 125 that he built this around only has something like a 4.5 liter tank.

    Your freestyle, eyeball to measure, chop-n-weld on the fly style of fabrication is flat out astounding. You must have a professional grade CAD program running in your head. Most of us would just end up butchering two vehicles and be left with a bunch of burned out scrap. You made a functioning hybrid that rivals or beats anything in its class that cost millions to design and bring to market. Shade tree mechanical engineering at it’s best!

I don't know if he does have Dyslexia, however being able to design in your head is so much fun and a trait that is definitely part of Dyslexia. Everything I modified on my bike was done eyeballed although I did use a lot of BOM style (look up Binky the amazing Mini) CAD design.. that is Cardboard aided design.

    Mutch more safer looking than the previous build. Also, I swear this is better than the A-Team after they get captured then locked in a fully tooled garage with a broken down vehicle and everything to turn it into a tank. I swear all this needed was the A-Team 'building' music in the background to raise this from a 10/10 to a 12/10. I love it when a build comes together.

      Prototype? It is just a scooter with a front mod that are made from a ATV? The cabin is really nice craftsmanship. But really there is no economy in making this since buying just the scooter is cheaper. And if you want a roof on your head then why not a SUV or a normal car? Electric if you want social cred. Really there is no space for this since SUV's are a thing. Phone and drive are a thing..
      If there was any government that cared, THIS is what should roam around on the roads. Together with electric bikes and walking on foot people. But for that to happen so much of society have to change. And the ones in power do not want to in convince themselves by having there bents or BMW's or whatever go away. Imagen big cities going from cars to electric driven non safe to crash vehicles. And then have people learn to drive or get thrown in jail if not driving safely. But so much need to change for that to work. And war, war never changes.

    • @Vault57
      @Vault57 3 ปีที่แล้ว +61

      @@TheDiner50 Most inventors do use preexisting machines and off the shelf items to build their prototypes. They only need to confirm proof of concept. Then they can begin the process of refinement. Reducing part counts, determining sourceable parts from suppliers, establish jigs and fixtures needed for manufacturing the parts they produce themselves. Yes, it's nice to commute to work in a dry environment, i.e. a roof over one's head. That's why this is preferable to a scooter. Buying a SUV negates the potential cost savings of electric, plus the space required to park larger vehicles in space hostile urban environments. Electric is not just about going green for the reduction of fossil fuels and carbon footprints, etc. Again, in urban environments it is the potential to reduce the ever present noise of hundreds of thousands petroleum-based vehicles in constant motion. His vehicle is one of many that are on engineering "drawing boards" around the world. He built something with potential. Wouldn't you like to see him succeed if he desires to do so? The big auto makers of the world have sat on their status quo's for way too long. As much as I love my noisy, smelly gas guzzler...change is coming.

      Was really cool. Personally, I dont consider the cost for the fenders on the shelf outrageous, mainly because of the cost of doing business today. Think of all of the steps that take place before something is setting on the shelf available for us to simply walk in and purchase. Design, product sourcing, manufacturing, packaging, shipping, receiving, stocking at warehouse, shelving at store, general overhead for a retail space, insurance, staffing, and finally profit. This is a generalized quick rundown, but its just a reminder of how many things must take place, and how many people earn a living for each of those steps. Im amazed sometimes how much stuff we all have readily accessible to us. 😀

As times change and the real economy is tanking, may be the concept of lighter, incredible gas mileage, back to basics, do-it-yourself repairs and maintenance and a low sticker and made in the good ole US of A has another chance. Anyway, do have some memories of ELIO Motors, someone I knew did their marketing. Jobs in Louisiana and American parts from other car makers bins, there was something about it.

Alot of people get carried away with the welder and make one big hunk of metal, looks cool but when you break a part you need to be able to get to it and isolate the smallest part to replace. I think your front fenders are the coolest part of the tricycle 👍👍

На передние крылья поставить дополнительно поворотники! И попробуйте сделать реверс, нужна задняя передача! А на квадроцикл поставить вилку спереди и будет трицикл только для внедорожник!

    Awesome build, keep it up.
    Not having reverse sucks with the added weight now. Idea, the old training wheel system you created. It can be reused to deploy a small wheel that pushes under the rear wheel when needed to reverse in parking situations. Other than that the attention to detail you put into your work is spot on, also with your fabrication. Can’t wait to see your next build. Keep up the hard work.
