It's Beautiful location now called "Sunset Beach"! Hundreds of people gather there at sunset to applaud the setting of the sun during summer months. SS Atlantic sits still in her place just hundreds of feet off the shore.

Sunsets are awesome there! They also have a flag ceremony at sunset honoring our veterans during the summer that's very moving. Cape May Point is the best! I don't know this guy but he has a good video about exploring The Atlantus th-cam.com/video/4JSdb4Cf6Cc/w-d-xo.html

    Hi,
I'm currently researching Camp Wissahickon; where did you get the map you show at around 0:14? Could you send me a link or tell me where to find the full image?
    Thanks

@@aidenconley6080 You're welcome! If you want that larger image of the map, contact me on my Facebook page with the same title as my TH-cam channel. I think I can send attachments there.

@@historyofthejerseyshore Perfect. Thank you so much! I'm a local to the area who has been trying to map out the camp for more than a year now.
At the foot of the Garden State Parkway at the Cape May exit, there is a small ammunition bunker a few hundred feet into the woods; online, you can find a few videos and photos of it. Supposedly despite the pristine condition of it, it is from Camp Wissahickon. I've been trying to understand why it is so far to the known location of the Camp, which would of been at Sewell Point, through buying up photographs of the camp as they pop up online and scanning postcards.

@@aidenconley6080 Sounds like an interesting project. I have seen videos of that bunker. That would be pretty far away and on the other side of the harbor but maybe they wanted to store ammunition away from the base? Just a thought.
