Nice! Just found your video. Great coverage with this paint. You picked a nice color. You really brought that dresser back to life! The knobs were so pretty! Too bad one was broken, but looks like you found nice replacements. I usually use Rust-Oleum chalk paint on my projects. I just did a video of a recent chalk painted table. It was also a thrift find. I wasn't aware that Magnolia Home made a chalk paint. I have to try it. Thanks so much for the info! Stay blessed!

hello , what a beautiful piece and a lovely color! quick question , the dresser seemed to have a sheen prior to painting,did you sand it first?
terri Marini Hi, thanks! I did not sand before painting (only over the wood filler to smooth it). The paint adhered perfectly without sanding. A great chalk paint!
You can buy the same paint at Walmart. It’s made by Kilz.

Hello will I need to sand my kitchen cabinets first before painting them with this paint or I do not need any sanding? also do I need to prime them first, do I use a brush, roller or spray paint? Thank
Hi, I realize this reply is really late - sorry! I would scuff sand them well (after cleaning) before applying the paint. If you surface is super shiny, it will likely need a primer before the paint. I hope this helps!

@@futbol1972 I use a small handheld orbital Ryobi sander. It works great and is easy to handle. You can also do by hand but it will take a lot longer.
So what was your opinion of the paint. I like the piece but was more interested in what you thought of the paint.
Hi Amy, I did like the paint. It covers well and I have had the dresser over a year now and it has held up nicely. I recommend it!
What a shame it wasn't restored. Beautiful piece of American Empire Period (c 1850) Mahogany painted over during a fad.
It is not mahogany; it is veneer that was chipped and missing huge chunks. But thank you Leslie (or is this Leigh)?
I’m done with her already. “Ginormous” isn’t a word first of all, and that dresser is too beautiful to paint.
