    Should have showed how you jack up the bike and should have showed the wheel coming out along with the spacers and axle

      2 jack stand up front and a jack with a flat lift plate in the back... Easiest thing to see... Lift the front witn someone on the back seat holding it upright. Put the jackstands in... Then left the back with the flat plate. And ur good...

    Should the old grease be removed and new grease applied to the splines?

    Order is off. You need to loosen the center nut first before anything else (before you even jack it up otherwise, it will just spin. Then you can do the rest. I bet thats why the poster skipped you seeing him loosen the 27mm nut.

    Hi, I have an 02 Spirit VT110C that looks about the same as this one. After you take the wheel off you show a view of the final drive with the end of that collar sticking out. I need to know which end of that collar goes into or facing the final drive when its reinstalled. One end is slightly smaller and shinier and I'm not positive but think that end is inserted into the final drive on re-installation. Does anyone on here know if that's correct?

    Branden nunn question buddy that 27mm is suppose to turn right off mines not and was wondering is it like a sport bike front tire where u need a bolt to hold the front while u turn it I’m turning the 27mm nut and it just keeps turning very hardly🤷‍♂️ any suggestions

      Sorry it's hard for me to remember it's not my bike I just work on it from time to time. However I think i remember you have to tighten that pinch bolt on the other side I did it slightly wrong in the video, and didn't re-record it. Sorry I should have corrected that in the video.if you tighten that pinch nut that I said to loosen first on the other side the nut should come off then loosen pinch nut and pull the bolt out...Sorry for the bad video

    You neglected the most important part of the job. How to get the rear end jacked up.

    • @brandennunn9416
      @brandennunn9416  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      9999Michigan everyone does it different I used a large car jack placed near the rear of the frame careful to avoid voltage regulator, and then used jack stands on front portion of frame to balance out. Then used tie downs to secure.

    If you can't figure out how to jack up the bike, you shouldn't be working on the fucking thing. I myself would like to thank you for taking the time to record this video

      kliserio01 I agree. I made a mistake. You guys are correct. I should have recorded putting the Jack's under the bike. I can walk you through what I did if you like?
