I listened to this song often when I was little. It was my dream to visit Israel. When me and my husband got married last 2017, instead of choosing a honeymoon destination, we chose to visit Israel. I was humming Sandy Patty's song while walking down the via Dolorosa. I thank our Lord Jesus for using Sandy Patty to minister in our lives.
I cry each time hearing this song, Why? Because Jesus took that walk for you and me, If you get the chance watch The Passion Of Christ, it is very realistic and this song is played as the actors recreate the scene this beautiful song sings of. Jesus died for all of our sins because He loves us so much. I can not count myself worthy of Him taking that walk, but thank God He did. He loves each and every person that reads this comment, so much so He gave his life, it was not taken for He had the Angels at His command. He gave his life willingly so we would not have to pay the penalty for our sins. All you have to do is ask Jesus into your heart in the best way you know how. Jesus knows your heart and will come in if you ask Him to, and He will forgive you of all of your sins!! I speak for myself when I say I am eternally grateful for what Jesus did for me. I can not wait until I see Him face to face, I will fall to my face in worship!!!!!!! Please do not put this off, ask Jesus into your heart and join the huge family in heaven!! God Bless!!

In Luke 23:33, it says "When they came to the place which is called Calvary", "Calvary" also means a place of a skull in Aramaic.
This rendition of this wonderful song has been my inspiration for some years now. The amazing thing about this is that this song cannot even begin to cover and explain Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. And it is sad how some people think that Jesus dies every year and resurrects every year. He died ONCE for the SALVATION of ALL. He did it so that we wouldn't have to. And our blood cannot even pay for our sins, because our blood comes from a sinner.
