Who Lives and Reigns Forever and Ever. Amen✝️🕊️

      Prayer to The Eternal Father
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Lord Elohim Jesus Christ in atonement for my sins, and in Supplication for the Holy Souls in Purgatory and for the needs of Thy Holy Church. Wow, My darling, firstly every morning when I wake I say a Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit Amen. Then I say Oh most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful Immaculate heart of Mary, and with her tears, I offer you all my prayers works Joys and Sufferings of this day. ( I say this so nothing I experience or do ever goes to waste.) God can use our sorrows and pains and turn them into graces and blessings to convert souls. I then consecrate myself and my family to the Blessed Mother and St Joseph, the Holy Family for Conversion of souls, healing of all forms of addiction, healings of mental health, physical health and spiritual health. I ask Jesus to bind and cast out all evil seeking to afflict, oppress, or harm anyone of us. Then The St Michael prayer and of course my Guardian Angel prayer who I daily ask for protection and help from. It was a great learning for me about 9 years ago that I could offer all my suffering to God and that God allows suffering in the lives of those he loves the most. I know this can be difficult for us humans to understand but we will on the other side.❤ Godbless you, shine bright!

I will confess, I saw the title of this episode and was immediately angry. As a former abused spouse, I was sure you could not understand the fear and pain and grief I felt when my then husband beat and terrorized me. I was certain you would say I must stay with him and suffer, or some such. I was surprised, pleased and relieved when you gently explained that the requirement to forgive did not entail the requirement to stay in that situation.
I do forgive him; he was clearly a deeply troubled man. I’ve often prayed for his well being and peace of mind. But i still have fear, and I hope to never see him again.

I just read the testimony of a Catholic woman who lived with an abusive husband with their children. He also abused the children. She went to the Priest who told her to stay with her husband and to pray about her own faults. The husband, a Catholic who didn't even go to Mass much, still used religion to shame his wife and children. She finally had enough, asked for a divorce, and left him...took the kids with her. After she left him, this abusive, prideful man finally turned to God and the Church...repented and returned to the Sacraments. Her suffering didn't save him, but her leaving him did.

I humbly submit to you - that yes, her suffering and her prayers helped her ex-husband. We don't know (those of us on the outside looking in) what role these actions on the wife's part led this man to repentance. Simply saying her leaving overlooks the graces borne of her suffering and her pleading to God. NEVERTHELESS, absolutely, she had a duty to protect herself and her children at the nearest chance to leave! The priest guiding her very likely misunderstood her situation or regarded it as tolerable. That was unfortunate- if so.

When I decided to have divorce, I went to church, saying goodbye to God because I thought I am not belong to his kingdom anymore. But I told God that I always love him and if miss Him so much, I will visit the church and sit at the latest row so I won’t bother the good children of God. After I finished my sentence, I can feel God smiled at me. God told me that He loves me too and He always welcome me. It was 17 years ago. God keeps His promises. True, but some elderly women didn't know that, weren't taught that - and early teachings remained with them through the years. They were ostracized if they divorced their husbands and so many remained. Maybe it related only to specific dioceses or even a parish? Don't know, but do know that some women when they finally stood up for themselves were faced with a man who if he didn't make changes then threatened to kill himself - and it would all be the woman's fault. I've worked with some of those very elderly women. They lived with shame and guilt if the husband did in fact kill himself or if she divorced. Most hid the abuse from others. One good thing: as the man aged he was too ill or weak to be abusive. Very sad for those woman, but at the least toward the end of life they have received some help from newer teaching in the Church that reached to their depths of pain. These are women who would have been born in the 1930s-early 1940s.

Why does staying married to a person who is abusive automatically means they have to physically stay and endure the harm? The person can stay married, love and pray for their spouse from a safe distance. That means adhering to the vow “until death do you part”, ie not start another (adulterous) relationship and pray for the abusive persons true conversion to Christ for the good of their soul. The abuser’s sin should not be an excuse for the abused to break the vows they made to God when they got married. St Rita of Cascia, pray for us. 🙏

How far a distance is a safe distance from an abuser?

So better we dont talk too much and leave the judging to those God commits it to in the church. Those with wisdom and compassion. The catholic church already has teachings on the sacrament of marriage and divorce. It was in her faith and obedience to God in her pain and suffering, an imitation of Christ’s passion that she was able to convert many people’s hearts to Christ and brought miraculous healing. Suffering people don’t have to stay in harms way, I know I didn’t. But if we would unite our suffering to the Cross of Christ for their conversion from their sins, maybe we would all be holier for it. I agree forgiveness is important but I have been through abuse with an abusive husband.
It has been 3 yrs he has been gone and no contact.
I forgave later after I healed and I am still healing but it was not instant!
It took me time to work through the fear, trauma and yes, hatred of him.
But as I healed my hatred turned to righteous anger of self protection and pity on him.
It took time to forgive but I do NOT want him back into my life as a friend or around me or our daughters.
God does not want anyone abused.
    Abuse IS evil!
    Abigail and Nabels story.
There are more forms of abuse than just physical too.
Nobody deserves their one human life walking on egg shells or worrying about being attacked from someone saying they love you.
    Abuse is not love!

The first part is the wisdom of the Father, the second part is the love of the Son, and the third part is the life of the Holy Spirit. I am so glad that you are focusing on the rituals. I always pray before meals and make the sign of the cross when out eating. I have slowly noticed that others are also doing it. The one sign of the cross that also has meaning is when it's done before the reading of the gospel. Seal your word o lord in my mind(on the forehead), on my tongue (on the lips), and in my heart(across the heart). At least, that's what I was taught many years ago and still remember today. Also, the reason why they use bells during the Communion is something worth a mention. It's interesting to see what you find out and report on. Keep up the great work.

    • @c.Ichthys
      @c.Ichthys หลายเดือนก่อน

Yes you're correct re: blessing before the Gospel reading.
As for the ringing of the bells during the Consecration, although not a requirement, it is to draw attention to the exact moment when Transubstantiation takes place (the ordinary bread and wine become the true Body and Blood of Jesus). I was taught that when the Priest elevates the Eucharist (and then next the Cup) we raise our head and look upon and adore Jesus. Then when the Priest lowers each, and bows we then lower our heads. Most people don't know this and don't look upon Jesus in the Transubstantiation of the Eucharist and the Cup. I recall reading years ago that this practice of the bells began (c. 13th century) when the Latin was no longer the vernacular, so the laity would know when Transubstantiation was taking place. And another reason because of the many people attending Mass, those further away could not see when Transubstantiation was taking place so the bells announced this.

This might help your daughter's feeling guilty. I was in physical and mental abusive relationship for almost 7 years. I was wanting to leave but the longer you stay,it gets harder .They sense you plan to leave and get worse in spite of promises. One day out of the blue he slapped me hard. The refrigerator behind kept me from falling. My two year old also in the kitchen seeing it, then ran up and hit me on the leg. My hub was not abusive everyday but for days at a time every couple of months as he was a binge drinker. I kept hoping and listen to his promises. one more chance but this opened my eyes. Realizing the programming to my child hit me like bricks, right then. Even without the physical, your child will be seriously affected. 😮
I managed to get away 2 or 3 days later but not before another abuse. I was pregnant. It was a simple divorce he only saw the children a couple times in my presence and then never again til right before he died . . That was good because i was able to tell about his good things and minimize the bad. My son grew up and is a wonderful, very kind person. His dad has been dead about 35 years. If your daughter has children it is wrong for her to make them live with that. Her abuse is also theirs. If she doesn't have children, it's much better to leave now. It will be impossible to protect your children from his abuse.. Back then I said you don't see the kids and ill.never try to get support or ask for anything.its ok to leave with almost. nothing. I packed my keepsakes, baby and ran.. I knew it was the right thing to do. It was difficult, but it had to be done. trust in God.

We're only human after all, and I believe that as long as we have pure good intentions to speak the truth and share it, we're in no wrong. And remember that Jesus was attacked by his own church.

We should pray for our dearest Pope Francis, not lambast or denigrate him, for to do so would be lambast and denigrate his office and our Church itself.
According to a dream given to Archbishop Malachi of Ireland in the 11th century, Pope Francis might be our last Pope. We should all pray the rosary every day to appease God's wrath.

In fact, a man who abuses his family is not simply neglecting his duty to love honor and cherish his spouse/children. No, far worse! He has ABANDONED his vow, his sacred oath to do so. Now, if this abuse comes out of addiction of some form, it may mitigate his culpability, but not the result or effect. That's why the Church stipulates canonical separations for abused spouses and children in these circumstances.

I am a Catholic and I really like your videos, I am skeptical and testing all things all the time (out of fear and curiosity and anxiety and pursue of truth) I don't think the Popes are infallible like the Church says because they are human, saying the Popes are infallible is just not true not even the apostles said that of themselves we clearly see Paul stating that, but I am not going to go and attack the Popes nor bug people who follow them blindly, I do think they teach us a lot of beautiful things but they are fallible in my opinion and refuse to follow them blindly or cover up any of their mistakes... I do support the channel though I don't care it's pro Pope or not I like the fact that is fellow Christian Catholic takes time to compile interviews and provide us with very useful information for spiritual warfare because with pope or no pope we still have one enemy and one enemy only and that's the devil not each other

The Pope is only infallable when he speaks to the faithful about morals and dogma infallably. That doesn't mean everything he says is infallable. Only in certain circumstances. This we believe is a grace from God to keep the church from error. Not that we can't or haven't erred, but so that the church as a whole remains with God. The grace comes from God, not the Pope. He is simply a person who errs and sins like all of us. It is the chair of Peter that is infallable, not the person of the Pope.

I agree, Altman is not a good source to follow. I do recommend Fr Jonathan Meyer at All Saints Parish in Guilford, IN. Discovered him during Covid and he is very scriptural and an excellent shepherd. His latest Sunday homily on the Solar Eclipse was particularly hopeful and scholarly. He is sound in his doctrine and respects Holy Father. If I didn’t have family where I live, I’d seriously move to Indiana 😀
Also The Coming Home Network is an excellent channel of former Protestants who dug deeper into God’s word and discovered Catholicism as the root. Many are former ministers. I’ve learned a lot of interesting information because of their personal research. I am a revert. Cradle Catholic, left to pursue feminism in college (a satanic ideology) born again evangelical in my 30s who returned to the Eucharist at 50. I am home. So here is my question if I forgave these things 60+ years ago why do I feel as if GOD finds me wanting in forgiveness. I confronted one sister she lied right to my face. I was pretty sure the other will lie as well. So I dropped it and said GOD will handle the harm you have done.... Is this the correct way to handle this within my faith?
I do ask father GOD to not have them in my part of heaven. I have spent my whole life taking care of people and getting lost in the shuffle.

    • @joshopincar4347
      @joshopincar4347 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

As a layperson, I can help answer your question. Or at least in part. Forgiveness is not a feeling, but an act of the will. It may take many years to gain a sense of peace or closure from the hurt that others have done. You may not even feel the strength or resolve to face the one causing the hurt and forgive them face to face. But that is not required of us. Forgiveness for that person in our heart is required. Also, there are times where we just need to let go, and let God take it - in our prayers. Another thing - be merciful to ourselves: sometimes we can also play a role in the hurt from others and we must forgive ourselves too.

Code of canon law 1153 sec 2 "in all cases" where the cause for abuse cease spouses are to be encouraged to resume conjugal living. The fullness of Christ's forgiveness was not that it stopped at just forgiving but saught for the offender to reconcile restoring the order God had called for in the Sacrament. Forgiveness has never meant that you forget what was done. Even God does not understand forgiveness that way: He forgives, but he also requires atonement. I heard an Amish man say something once that really stuck with me. He said that forgiveness means that you give up the right to vengeance and give that to God. Then you walk away. It does not mean that you condone what was done. It just means that you give the job of vengeance and atonement to God.
