Gimbal quality looks good. But having it above the plane instead of below, ruins the scenary views. I am on the process of making mines as well with a gimbal, but it will be underneath in the nose section, will post on fb once it is done. but i would love to see post of the project being built from scratch, it owuld be a good tutorial for those struggling from the get go. Cheers!
I feel there are a few reasons why the gimbal is located there. First one is there is no need for protection for landing which is obvious. But the second one I think is that the gimbal works too well in terms of reacting to the shakes of the plane. So when a sudden tilt of the plane due to the wind occurs the gimbal will compensate it and if you don't see the plane body you will not know about it which is critical for landing because you can land on the wing tip
hi! amazing VTOL! a read a comments, you told that you use a MAVlink controllers. What you mean? Like Pixhawk? want to print this cute VTOL but didnt understand with FC i need. Thank you against!
I pray the gods of the winds protect all your drones, simply because you have the basic decency to ACTUALLY list the music in the description 👍🏻 good on you.
HI MRS FLIGHTORY, IT´S POSSIBLE TO DESIGN OR SUPPLY THE ADAPTATION TO ALTERNATE NOSE OF THE TALOON V2 TO USE IN THE VTOL Stallion MODEL AND SO BE ABLE TO A GLIMBAL CAMERA WITH GOOD RESOLUTION AND DO PHOTOGRAVOMETRY ON TERRAIN? OR WHITCH TO ADAPT A CAMERA IN THE BELLY OF THE VTOL Stallion?
Love it! Do you have a video explaining how the programming works in betaflight or whichever software you are using when it switches from vertical to horizontal flight? Interested to know how we set that up after buying design, printing, and assembly
@@SkyCandyVisuals Hi, I don't have a video, but on our website, there is a user manual with all the necessary information and links. We use MAVLink controllers and ArduPilot firmware. The ArduPilot website has a full knowledge base required for configuring the aircraft in various configurations, including a tiltrotor tricopter like our Stallion. The user manual contains links to this as well as a list of parameters specifically set for our aircraft.
The stallion doesn't have landing gear, so that's not really an option. Possibly in the future, landing gear with mini shock absorbers might be cool for rougher landings.
@@averagejoe8358would a retractable gimbal be an option? That way you can avoid having to fit landing gear, and the gimbal can be protected better during landing or any accidents.
It depends on the RC link and the video link you use. With ELRS, which we use, under good conditions, the range can reach up to 100 km, but the video link ends sooner. The record for Walksnail is around 50 km, but it usually ends up at several kilometers if you don’t use strong antennas, and ideally, an antenna tracker.
This is honestly the coolest thing I've ever seen. The design is so reminiscent of a military RPAS, like the Reaper. Excellent job.
Wow! Your design and work is exceptional. Congrats on a beautiful looking plane and a stunning video. I enjoyed it a lot.
I love it. Please share more videos from different angles.
Great looking design. Nice work integrating the Gimbal.
wow... that solve the old problem of the turbulence jittering on video feed, amazing
Magnificent.
So wild great build.
Really excellent project, and video, thank you.
Would it be more effcient to move the rear prop to behind the V-tail, and have it tilt down out of the airflow, with a folding prop?
May be drastic changes to CG that make it impractical.
wow great work

Yes I agree a complete build tutorial would be amazing.

@@О.Ш-ь1щgimbles are meant for underneath. You don’t need a fumble for flying or landing but for surveillance etc…
Any update?
How much can cost a set up like this? How much on hardware?
Quick question, can you install the gimbal in the nose of the aircraft like a dji drone ?
hi!

amazing build, how much are the maximum payloads with present set ?
Dziękuję i pozdrawiam.
beautiful
When I change my 3d printer machine, for sure I will get this model for me
It can even be printed on budget printers like the Ender ✈️
Whats the stall speed when the props are fully forward
Beautiful camera work. What camera are you using on the ground?
Thanks, Sony A7III
Nice , what is takeoff weight ?

Bellissimo modello ,mi piacerebbe costruire la versione V-Tol ma per me la configurazione software è troppo difficile
Question: should the (pico) talon have a CW or CCW propeller?
Gimbal should be mounted at the bottom of the air craft. Will you watch the stars with drin and gimbal???

@@averagejoe8358yes! Great work! It model with gimbal on bottom…. I’d buy a printer just to build that!

@PaddyFromPaddistan it doesn't have that much space it would be have to be engineered to fit and do everything you want
does this model need flight controller and how many channel i need i couldnt find on the website
Most people use the Speedybee F405 wing. It can control 5 motors, multiple servos and up to a 2 axis gimbal.
how about total flight distance?

@@FLIGHTORYdo you use analog or digital video to fly? You can stretch analog video to those distances with an AKK vx
