OMG I just figured this video while searching for this traditional dance. I danced this song back when I was in elementary. But knowing that foreign ppl danced amazingly, I just can't speak a word. I love it!
We just starting to learn this dance last night for our next performance. For me you guys did a good job, it might not perfect yet but I believe you guys working so hard on it and you guys absolutely amazing. Base on what we practiced last night, Yess it's hard and we had many difficulties here and there but we had a lot of fun though. As we all know Jaipong is of the hardest dance to learn. And I am personally salut on your work. Thank you for posting it and share it with us. And the gentleman in front is amazing. We might use your video for reference on our practice tonight. Adam Siregar Hi! No worries, I know, we didn't have costumes and we were still learning the dance at that time, we presented it as "work in progress" the funny part is that this video has so many views, I don't know how does it happened, thank you for being honest :)
Can you at least appreciate their effort? Of course they are not as good as native professional Indonesian dancers (yet), because they aren't totally living and understanding the culture; do you think you could do better than them if you have to perform their native dance?!
