It sure is amazing retreading old tires into new ones. I guess it's ok for tractors & trucks that runs in slow speed. Not sure the adhesive will hold & not come apart at high speed. Nevertheless they are recycling old tires into new ones which is good.
It is not glued but vulcanized. It's like welding the material chemically.
Exactly what I was thinking all good on a slow tracker but in the front of a car or 4x4 would not trust
retreaded truck tires are common in the US, and pre radials, you could get them for cars as well.

At least they cut it with that rotating device. In another video that showed retreading of old tires, the tires were cut completely manually, probably causing an unbalace.
Looking back 1998..my job was like that in Vacphil Rubber Corporation..in Las Piñas City Metro Manila..I miss that kind of work .. and now I think I can still able to do that job ..

I wonder how robust the final result is.
In my experience, retreads outlast the original tyre.
I sat on a plane next to a Factory rep for a major tire manufacturer. He said retreads are often better than new, as any flaws would have ruined the original long ago. Some tires on truck can be retreaded several times
