In this episode we design and build a new exhaust for the 2024 Harley Davidson Nightster special.
this exhaust will be available as direct slip on exhaust fore the 2024 nightster
We are Kruesi Originals, a performance Harley Davidson shop in Phoenix Arizona. We specialize in aftermarket performances parts for Harley Davidson, and American V twin.

I ride a 2023 nightster . It’s cool to see somebody doing something with this bike. I have nearly 10,000 miles I’ve put on the bike since new. the bike gets beat on daily and so far so good
I have a 23 nightster, salesman that sold me my bike from desert wind told me to look up your videos, that thing is pretty sweet. I ripped the baffles and insulation out of my exhaust and put it back on. My bike was also done up to get put on the showroom floor, it has Harleys Adversary trim package on it with the velocity stack, but my bike is absolutely insane! I am a bigger guy but I raced a tesla, ninja 636 and several other pretty quick vehicles and I just leave em. I want to do more mods to my bike so really appreciate your videos!!
Did you gut the cat or just mufflers? Any check engine light? I just bought one and need to do an exhaust asap! Also need to do something with the bars, hopefully a set of z bars is what I’m thinking.

As a owner of a 2024 Nightster I appreciate what y'all are doing here.
The exhaust market for these bikes is limited.
Your major competition is S&S and TBR.
I personally think the Nightster community will eat up this slip on if the price is comparable to the S&S.
I haven’t looked at their price, but I’m guessing we can come in a little underneath

Yes, those are some also but, they are not nearly as popular and or issues and or in another country and or too expensive.

So glad the Pan America has kept this engine in the forefront. This is the future for HD. A Nightster and a PA would make for a sick garage.
I work at a Harley dealer (in sales). After your first vid about the Nightster I decided to take one out for a rip and I have to agree with EVERYTHING. People are sleeping on these bikes! They are a fucking riot to rip on! I've converted a few guys already. One of the other guys in sales is a huge fan of the Low Rider S and he too thinks the Nightster is really impressive. Even in stock form they sound pretty good ripping through the gears under load. Above 4k or so they just SING...
I absolutely absolutely love them. I rode mine all weekend in California with this exhaust and is the nastiest sounding thing in the best riding motorcycle I’ve ever ever been on.
@@kruesioriginalsare you running the stock shocks? There are a couple used bikes local to me for sale for around 9K. They are 22 and 23 models without the tech, so I’m hesitant. Would rather have the special model with the nice gauge. Yours sounds crazy, so it has me thinking about one!
I just started working back at a harley dealership again and the techs all say the same thing, ride it above 4k and it will completely change your mind. I think i know what im doing at work tomorrow

I wasn't even a harley fan until I test ride a 24 nightster as I was comparing 2 diff bikes. We'll, the nightster is now sitting in my garage and I never tested the other bike. It's a blast to ride

I've one of the original '22 Nightster and haven't changed the exhaust yet, my only complaint on this bike and the tank size.
If you have one which can slip-on with cat in place, that would be cool... Love the sound of it...

I’ve done a few pan America motor swaps because of cam chain tensioners on the front head. They loose their oil when they sit because of the design of them. Pretty easy swp
I'm so excited for this build. I used to have an indian scout and i miss that liquid cooled engine. Sounded good too. I might be adding a nightster to the stable.

If you like this new Nightster, you should consider picking up a Victory Octane. Basically was/is the Victory version of the Nightster but came out 8 years ago right before Victory was no more. My son has one. None of the tuning electronics you have to figure out how to get around on this Harley. Same type of water cooled, higher rev engine. And it is a ripper. My son's made right at 100 hp to the wheel stock. You guys could go absolutely nuts with one. Great platform.

I think it’s amazing that Krusi is building entry-level bikes like this for women. A lot of us have nieces and daughters who would love to commute to class or Pilates. Doing a bike like this, especially designed for petite women is perfect, given the ride height and ride ability. Just fast enough to make it to yoga class on time but cool enough to ride along side the bicycle lane and get a thumbs up from cyclists. Way to go guys, doing one for the ladies 👏 👏 💃 🧘♀️

I have a 23 nightster, and I keep thinking about doing a mutant sportster build, some longer shocks and forks along with some knobby tires. I think the gas tank would be vulnerable though.

I see it goes legend on it ? How’s the ride with stock shocks and a bigger guy? I’m pretty built at 5’10 /210lbs, already own a heavily modified twin cam RK but looking for something nimble to just zoom around and they my wife can also ride here and there

I love this bike. It's like Harley-Davidson threw a Dyna Low Rider, a VRSC Night Rod and an Iron 883 in a blender and all the best bits floated to the top, ready to rock!
ABSOLUTELY do a cat-back slip-on, Ohio isn't THAT restrictive but there's a few pass-through cities that live off those muffler tickets... As far as suspension, I wonder if any Moto Guzzi V7 parts would fit...

Wilbers makes suspension for it. I’ve had the nightster since it came out and it’s a ripper. Glad your putting pressure for aftermarket on this.

German company I believe but supposedly they make some badass suspension. Ive never run them or seen them in person though. @kruesioriginals
Jenius tip of the day. Get a Harley Pan Amercia Header to build the custom exhaust! Its got a more traditional Harley 2 into 1 look and should fit because it's the same motor.
BTW Dope Build so far! I'm diggin the Nightster, liquid cooled is the future.
How come yours do not have the third O2 sensor?
I removed my stock slip on too and replaced it with the specter performance slip on. But i didn’t cut the catalytic and it’s loud already, so im certain that sounds so loud right now.

I'm in SoCal and have a '22 Nightster. I'm in Phoenix every once in awhile. Would be stoked if you could make a license plate relocator to under the rear fender. Not too much to ask!!
