I liked watching Penny’s growth throughout the show, looking back, it was all based off everyone avoiding the obvious all those years between her and Leonard which is all the show was actually about.
@@american11asshole Originally the show was gonna be called "Kenny, Penny and Lenny" (I don't know the order of the names), and Sheldon was actually gonna be called Kenneth, hence Kenny
So while many think of TBBT as having Sheldon as the main character, we really see Penny and Leonard's story as usually the main story

They asked Kunal about this in an interview after Young Sheldon came out, he said pretty much that It would be a very boring show his characters life was nowhere near as interesting as Sheldon. English is also one of the official language in India. Each Indian state has its own language (Like Europe). Sometimes Indians from one state marries another from another state..then English could be the common language.
