Trying out Cafe Sierra's luxurious all you can eat Lobster, Alaskan King Crab, & Prime rib dinner buffet in Los Angeles. This buffet is $140 per person for Saturday Dinner & $95 for Sunday brunch, located at The Hilton, across from Universal Studios in Los Angeles. There was a lot of great buffet options here from roasted duck, dim sum, to filet mignon, tune in to the video to see if this all you can eat feast was worth the price!

My wife and I went here on December 24, 2023. We were so excited after watching all the TH-cam videos of this place. Living in Los Angeles we haven't found any good buffets and were hoping this would be a great one. To say were disappointed is an understatement! Everything looks great when you first see it, but your hopes are soon dashed. All the shellfish was over cooked and chewy. The meats were cold, yes cold! The deserts were okay, but nothing special. I thought this place would have food up to par with the Vas Vegas Buffets, but I was totally wrong and so disappointed. The best part was the cost of $119, which was $20 more than usual because it was Christmas. Thank God the wifey and I are going to Vegas very, very soon to experience a PROPER Buffet. Stay away from this place like the plaque. Do not waste your time or money going here.

I like lobster but I think I prefer the claws. But I don't want them cold. I don't eat the the head stuff and I would definitely remove the intestinal tract!! King crab legs are the best!!

How did he manage to eat all that food! For 185 I guess one could! Kind of ridiculous price when you think about it! Bacchanal buffet at Caesar’s is like 69- 79 only just as good!

This is a great buffet. It is pricey due to the high quality all you can eat options. I would definitely eat enough lobster tail, crab and/or steak to justify the cost. If you don't like seafood, meat or have a small appetite then this may be too much to pay for a buffet but definitely worth trying once, a splurge.
Best way to eat bone marrow, in my opinion, is with some crispy bread or corn tortillas. We call it beef butter.
Favorite part of the lobster is the tail.

We went to The Palm last week. I was a bit disappointed bc the lobster was frozen and reboiled. It was just ok

Why can't buffets serve dim sum in small individual baskets??!! It's easy and cheap enough to do. And they can put 2-4 different kinds in one basket. And they can have someone or the customer to plunk the basket on a steamer. So easy.

I agree with you. But everything is of expensive high quality and is costly. It isn't like there is those imitations crab which is pollock.
This please I sweared myself never going again because of the poor management of reservation. I reserved 4 seats on 7 pm and I shew up at 5pm . I requested to cancel my 7pm reservation and change to walk in waiting . The manager refused and insisted to tell me waiting until 7pm.

Snow crab legs are not coming from Alaska right now. Alaska ran out of snow crab legs. The snow crab legs are coming from Maine and Nova Scotia, Greenland, Iceland and Norway.
Seafoods, like lobsters, crab legs, are amazing! but the Japanese section is so messy and crapy looking, it does not justify the 140 Dollar buffet standard at all!
The European saying "pearls for swines" seems to be applicable here...
Nasty beef bone marrow with bacons.
Can even see by looking at the lobster crab the low quality: color off and size not worth the price. Would rather get just high quality seafood (eg crab lobster shrimp cocktail) at a great seafood restaurant
For 180 (inclubind tax and tip), your limited on the king crab by forcing you to get lobster with it. With lobster at like 10 bucks a pound...i'll just buy the frozen king crab at Sam's club for like 20 bucks a pound.

im sorry.. but that prime rib looks OVER cooked. a lot of that food does look good.... but because it was sitting in the warmer/steamer for soo long... its all over cooked.. especially for a $139 meal per person. you deserve WAY better if you are gonna be paying that price. everything you decide to eat should be served fresh for that price.
Looks delicious, but I can't do buffets. All it takes is one person to contaminate the entire restaurant, going around touching all of the utensils on each food item. Yuck 🤮

Too expensive . I cannot eat that much food . 140 + 14 tax + 22 tip . You are better off eating a restaurant.
