I think the conversations about Lossiemouth are very similar to what was said in the past about Honeysuckle. She has the credentials to win a Champion Hurdle or Stayers Hurdle as she is already a 2 time Cheltenham Festival winner. Winning the Triumph Hurdle and the Mares Hurdle. The 5 pounds allowance that she gets from all the others makes a massive difference allied to her running style really does make her very hard to beat.

My only concern here was her time 24.5 seconds outside average. Royal Bond winner just 7.0 outside & even the juvenile winner was only 8.4 outside average .

Laboured she was being held back for most of the race then did enough on the bridle to show Willie what he needed to see. That mare has plenty of speed wasn't going to show it here. Who knows if she's gd enough to win a Champion hurdle but u wouldn't say she couldn't. Let's hope they all stay sound and we will have a terrific race
