I had one just like that, Ember Glow they called that color. Mine was a 390 4 speed. Originally a 2BBl car ... I installed 428 CJ heads, cam and intake which made nearly identical to the GT. No traction bars though and man did it have a wicked wheel hop with those rear leafs!
GT had the 390. 500 had a 289. 351 is an upgrade. 400 hp is jus about right. Although grill is not chrome it is aluminum. I had a 67 289. Beautiful cars.

Beautiful car! Sounds real nice too!
the color of my dad's fairlane is exactly the same, also the model is the same! I'm also getting it when I turned 16!
Jeez - you better look after your Dad - forever - after a gift like that.
Lucky guy
That door shut real nice

I had a 66 2 door post years ago. Can't even find any of them. The post was between the side windows painted the same as the car. Must have been rare.
Quero um Dodge Coronet 73.
He blew the shift!
He never did find 3rd lol !
yo
Shouldn't it have a 390?
Probably blew up the 390. I had a 1967 original 390 car, unfortunately had a 289 in it when I bought it

St White - grill is not aluminum, it’s the same metal as the other metal trim. 🍺
My red 66 Fairlane 500 with factory three speed in floor had a 302 that had replaced the factory 289
@@mrdiplomat9018 If not aluminum, what?
IT has the TYPEWRITER TICK. L O L
Door panels are not even close.
The door panels originally had a vertically mounted simulated woodgrain panel toward the front with vinyl embossing. These door panels are stark.
Larry Hawkins I like em though
First of all they fkd it up putting a 351 in it! Go find a 289 and you will have something!
No substitute for cubic inch
Checkout the gas gauge, the tank is almost empty! I really don't like the sound of the car while it's idling!! Darling little car though!
Sounds strong to me
