    Jodhpur muncipal not doing any cleaning! Seriously one of the most visited places in India and the govt. Of Rajasthan busy using taxpayers money for politics rather than keeping the city clean and giving travellers local, national and international a amazing experience. Also not mention the people of Jodhpur will feel so proud welcoming travellers in their clean city.

    I fell in love with jodpur also. Request to locals -- Please remove most of the cows to a common sanctuary, stop throwing trash everywhere, restore and maintain the forts. Maintain the architecture style . Ban scooters (in the blue city area). Cant wait to go back.

    Hey Man, you heading to Vietnam soon? Been here for about a month and a half, saw on your instagram that you are heading here soon. If so, you have to do the Ha Giang loop. By far the best thing i have done in Vietnam and everyone says the same. Beautiful geography and would make for some really good vids.

    • @AlexanderTravelbum
      @AlexanderTravelbum  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that’s my plan, hoping to do it this week. Any tips? Starting from Hanoi in a few days

    • @kieran2466
      @kieran2466 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@AlexanderTravelbum Awesome, ya if you have the time i would spend like a week doing it. Everyone does the loop in around 3-4 days (as did i) but in my opinion its the most beautiful place in Vietnam so i wish i would have spent more time on the loop.
      - Obviously rent a motorbike
      - People say that you need a permit (for travelling in the northern regions) which you can get in Ha Giang but nobody really gets it. I didn't and had no problems
      - The nicest section is from Dong Van to Meo Vac (Mai Pi Leng Pass)
      - If you have time, go to the "northern flagpole" pretty much the most northern point of vietnam. The flagpole itself really isn't anything too special but it is a nice section of road getting there.
      - Du Gia is a nice town that not as many people go to which is a nice drive with beautiful sections of road.
      - I would suggest spending a night in Du Gia, and Meo Vac forsure but Dong Van and Yen Minh are decent towns too.
      - In the city of Ha Giang there is a nice little hike to the top of one of the mountains (i think it is called Chùa Hộ Quốc) you get a nice view of the city and it is just something to do in Ha Giang.
      - I stayed in homestays (with other travellers) and this was nice, classic family dinners.
      - Try some happy water which is local moonshine
      - bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang takes around 8 hours
      - Remember not to rely on google maps (or whatever maps app you use) for time estimates. It might say it will only take you 2 hours but in reality it might take 4-6 depending on how fast you are going. The roads can be bad in some areas but its not really a big deal.
      - There many diverse and different ethnic minorities that live in the areas in and around the loop
      - As you ride through small towns all the kids will say hi to you and try to give you high fives
      I think thats pretty much everything, let me know if you have any questions as i literally did it a month ago!
