Hi Laura. We are planning to go to India with my wife and young son (almost 3 years old). Many people told me it is quite dirty and it's a chaos. How did you feel travelling with young kids? Did you go to the north as well? Thank you!
@@michelsordou It is pretty dirty but that shouldn't stop you from visiting. It is a myriad of cultures and locations, and an amalgam of flavors which burst in your mouth! I would recommend visiting the mountains of India (Dalhousie), but don't go to Shimla, as beautiful as it may be, because that location is dangerous due to war between Pakistan and India. I can relate to so many things! I was on a multi week trip India recently too and we also had the 15mins of fame with the locals who want our photographs everywhere we went (esp my Caucasian friends - I'm Asian myself though I still received requests for photos). It is true, just day 1 in India and you already know that it is a country unlike any other you've visited. From the masala chai to the cows and elephants (and beyond as they Vagabrothers would show you in later episodes I'm sure), you'll be blown away by the culturally rich nation! I am just very sad that there are only 6 videos in this series. I would savour every episode as I reminisce my own journey in India. Looking forward to the rest of this series!

One of the most interesting things that i saw is an procession of elephants in tourist places or walking by the streets. These elephants carry people and into a fortress, called Amer Fort.

You must have had a very good Hindi teacher :D You pronunciation is almost on point, usually foreigners trying to use Hindi expressions are so far from the original sounds. Did you take lessons prior to this trip or something? I'm curious to know :)
Reborn In India when I started learning Hindi pronouncing the hard 'd' was a pain in the ass. But eventually I learned. In 2years I was fluent in Hindi but my English is still poor.
wow congrats! What made you want to learn Hindi? It's sonically a little complicated but otherwise it's a simple and beautiful language and I'm glad you had a go at it :)
The fact that you guys are keeping cool in the very first day of Indian madness is something way beyond. Also Marko your history information is on point. For Alex it’s true, India becomes too much to understand on the very first day of your visit. It’s bizarre and beautiful at the same time. I wish you guys had a great experience. Great Vlog!
I have been born and brought up in Jaipur. I lived here for 20 years of my life before moving for work to different parts of India. I loved loved and absolutely loved the aerial shots of Amer and Jaigarh. Those shots shows the massiveness of Jaigarh fort which is hard to imagine when you are wandering within the fort. Thanks for capturing Amer and Jaigarh so beautifully!
Hey vagabrothers add a city name kurukshetra in your list, it is the battle ground of Mahabharata war and there are a no of visitable sites like shekchill makbarra , shrikrishna museum, arrow river( bannganga), jyotisarr, bhramsarover and lots more and I'm living only 23km from this city and you guys don't worry about accommodation everything for vagabrothers is Free
Your shots and camera movements keep getting more and more creative! Love the one with the pigeons at 0:46 and I'm excited to see all you India videos!!
Ah byes! The Amber fort! Did this in 2000. Jaipur is gorgeous. I particularly liked the views up at the fort. Mind you, hassle at the fort can be tiring. Perhaps they have clamped down on this.I love the Indian milky tea
It is not India its just Rsjasthan. Switch to another state, its like switching between countries with entire different culture, people, religions, and languages. I am from alappuzha, kerala. Here the land and heritage is entirely different from Rajasthan.

Is this even a real question?? Of course! I’ve also been binge watching all of yalls videos. SO GOOD! Is it hard to find music that fits the videos? Whenever I make videos (for my IG or FB) that’s the hardest part for me.
I just returned from Jaipur! What an awesome place! Colours, Colours and colours everywhere . Authentic Rajasthani food and Excellent people. Love to go again!!!
My son and I took a trip to Jaipur in August. What an incredible place. The traffic....the people...the architecture!!!! We stayed at a wonderful hotel called the Alsisar Haveli.......amazing and in the middle of an area that would have fitted right into Slum Dog Millionaire. If ever at the hotel ask for Akram - our tuk tuk driver for 4 days - the nicest man imaginable. Great memories watching this video.
I love your videos! It's great you don't just film different places but also tell the history about the places you explore! That makes the videos even more interesting! Thanks for the great videos! -Amelia
By far my favorite thing about your videos is the fact that you actually try to understand the history and culture of the place, and transmit that to the viewer in a practical and appealing way. I have yet to come across another channel as good as this one.

We really wanted to make it out there but couldn’t swing Jaislmer on this trip. Next time!
All about going to India! So vibrant!
oh and super cool vlog as always guys :)
Thank you!! Stay tuned for the whole series it’s 🔥
INDIA IS MY LOVE
Love from The India....
Classic one👍😉
The fact that you guys are keeping cool in the very first day of Indian madness is something way beyond. Also Marko your history information is on point. For Alex it’s true, India becomes too much to understand on the very first day of your visit. It’s bizarre and beautiful at the same time. I wish you guys had a great experience. Great Vlog!
"Ghar" means: house. :-) Not fort. :-) It´s nice to see that you seem to love and respect India. Your video is better than the superficial ones.
"Ghar" means a home (where you feel the longing). "Makaan" is a house and "Kila" is a Fort. :)
Yes "Ghar" means house but its "Garh" and it means fort.
ITS "GARH" MEANS FORT
love from india :) this was shot really well and can't wait to watch the rest of this series.

Ah byes! The Amber fort! Did this in 2000. Jaipur is gorgeous. I particularly liked the views up at the fort. Mind you, hassle at the fort can be tiring. Perhaps they have clamped down on this.I love the Indian milky tea
Steven Cassidy visit us again ☺
It is not India its just Rsjasthan. Switch to another state, its like switching between countries with entire different culture, people, religions, and languages.
I am from alappuzha,kerala.
Here the land and heritage is entirely different from Rajasthan.
We hope to explore Kerala next :)
You are always welcome 😉😊
Fensen Francis why i see keralites always talking in dividing language.
@@mjpawan
Most of the people in the North understands hindi..
While in south the languages are complicated.. and we are forced to learn hindi.. eventhough most of us never use hindi in our daily lives and never wanted to..
@@fensen6949 how are u fkrced to learn hindi?

Ram Subramanian god why do you separate south from India??? India is India. No north no south. Periid
Bro, you are right whether we are from north, south or east, west, we eventually remain Indian.
Hey guys, I'm proud of Indian and I live in Jaipur. Love you brothers. Sach a great historical City and royal's Parade.
wow your pronounciation of Hindi is surprisingly good :D
Haha thank you!
WOW that canon looks like fiction :)
It’s fact. And it is HUGE!
vagabrothers I am from jaipur.. now based in US.. and i can vouch for it.. the canon is 100% real
Actually i seen the first cannon is this ' jaibaan ' in chilhood
Then whenever i see cannon than i thought its small model of cannon it's not working
But by the time i realise all cannons were real
And jaibaan was bigest 😂🇮🇳🙏❤️
Again...so beautiful, so informative. Just watching the video made me feel overwhelmed and “blissed out” at the same time. I can only imagine how Alex was feeling 🐘💓
Have you visited kumbhalgarh fort.... That the longest wall after wall of china...
I love the way y'all filmed this! and the music fit the video perfectly. I REALLY want to visit India now! is it me or did it feel like this episode went by too fast?
Thanks Carolina. Don’t worry there’s plenty more coming soon. Do you have notifications turned on? Also there’s more India content over on our Instagrams 👍🏽
Is this even a real question?? Of course! I’ve also been binge watching all of yalls videos. SO GOOD! Is it hard to find music that fits the videos? Whenever I make videos (for my IG or FB) that’s the hardest part for me.

You guys have captured my home city beautifully!
Your home city is awesome!
-Amelia

Welcome to India Alex and Marko! I love watching your videos, wish you guys could visit North-East states of India aswell.
By far my favorite thing about your videos is the fact that you actually try to understand the history and culture of the place, and transmit that to the viewer in a practical and appealing way. I have yet to come across another channel as good as this one.
This was so beautiful! Can’t wait to see more! ♥️🙏🏼

This video is just what I was looking for. I'm planning going to India on my next vacation and although I already have some places to visit, your video really helped me with new places.
There is something and it is that I'm thinking about buying a drone and I've noticed that to fly a drone in India, you must have a permission to do it. Can you please tell me what did you do to fly?
Thnks!

@@shivamagrawal1519 You just cringed the hell out of me dude. Yes I'm an Indian, and yes, guests are always welcome. But nobody was, is or ever will be our lords.
