What is neat about your Wheelock AES is that you can activate different tones with different trigger points depending on the panel being used. For example, the fire alarm condition can activate the horn setting and non fire event, such as a severe weather warning can activate the siren setting.
Depending on the age of that QuickAlert, it may have the older synchronization protocol of flash upon power cut, if so an MDL can make it flash properly. That Simplex plate is used for adding Simplex 4904 strobes to alarms that do not have bells, so it can replace a broken 4901 strobe plate or be used in a new installation as needed
Fact, I saw a Simplex Quick-Alert only in one of the small sixth grade classrooms I had my sixth grade year of school at. I'm not sure why it has the ridges of a horn grille, but enclosed.
Prior to as he said the Simplex QuickAlert is an earlier version of the TrueAlert they will have a date code that specifies that they were made 1999 or 2000.

It could also be used on the newer 4906 SmartSync TrueAlert remote strobes as well
By the way the QuickAlert remote strobes are from 1999
That adapter you can mount a simplex 4904 strobe and any horn you want.
Addressable Gamewell Centuries are rare
The MT is actually a Cerberus Pyrotechnics MT not Wheelock. I saw the sticker

Wait did they change the name from true alert to quick alert? Am I crazy or am I missing something.
It was QuickAlert before they named it TrueAlert, which is what stands today.
Prior to as he said the Simplex QuickAlert is an earlier version of the TrueAlert they will have a date code that specifies that they were made 1999 or 2000.
