I adore Zimone and Tyvar's dynamic so much "Because our foes are so preoccupied by my brilliance that it makes your job easier," Zimone blinked after him. "Houses don't think," "Yeah, well, apparently neither do elven princes, because here we are," And of course: Tyvar: *punches a wall* Zimone. "Ah. Violence."
Huh, Zimone's hypothesis on why the omenpaths appeared while 'walkers were desparked is interesting. Not sure I remember anyone else in the lore explicitly connecting those yet.
Seconding the sentiment that the audio stories are great! Loved when they started up, but they were too slow to release; you all are doing an awesome job with the cadence now and I engage way more with the story as a result!
Been wanting to build a D&D-style dungeons deck for a while and this set, with the return of archenemy in the commander precons, sounds like a fun way to build around that.
@@FettFan42 Oh Bloomburrow would be cute too but since Halloween is coming up I think this is more fitting. Maybe in spring a Bloomburrow type one shot would be fun
They fixed the poor music choice from the Bloomburrow stories, where it built to a crescendo that made the actual story difficult to listen to. Points for that. So far I am really enjoying the story, but I am more bias to horror. They are doing a good job on the atmosphere in general. Tyvar is a real treat, I love every word that comes out of his mouth.
Don't split the party, rule 0 for dungeoneering...seems like the crew didn't play any D&D ;) Anyways. Tyvar continues to show why he's the GOAT. New friend who survived the house. A mention of the 3 members of the family from part 1. And Zimone's curiosity might get the best of her. Will the crew find each other? Will they descend into madness? No one is safe, even with a fate token >:D Have some constructive criticism regarding Harless's reading in this part: when Kaito suddenly falls into the floor with the Wanderer desperately reaching out for him, she reads it with the same tone and cadence as the rest of the story. Instead, it should be read in a tone that conveys that sudden danger of the situation and the Wanderer's shock at losing Kaito. More immersive that way.
Man as a huge fan of audio books, I gotta say you guys really killed it! It would have been so easy to just poop out a story but this is actually really intriguing and well done, love the ambient music too!
I think I have a theory about the Omenpaths. There is a part if this video where Zimone is explaining multiverse stuff with Tyvar. During that part she says something about the multiverse reaching out and asking for attention, and that the Multiverse shows when it is displaced. Well I think that the reason so many planeswalkers lost there spark is because of the multiverses cry for them to close the omenpaths. I'm wondering if the omenpaths being open is why people have lost that feeling of connection with the Blind Eternities. I don't know, just a theory. Does anyone else have thoughts about it?
I really wished Aminatou would've been used more (currently listening, so it may change) I guess her natural magic tends to be a bit "breaking". Heres to hoping we will get a new 5-color Niv-Mizzet. Haha, I can see it now " Niv-Mizzet, Paranormal Researcher" For anyone wondering, from what I can make out from the grainy picture, Aminatou's Legendary Creature card has an ability like this - At the beginning of your upkeep surveil (it says a sentence so there must be something like "once for each opponent") Enchantment spells in your hand have Miracle. Their miracle cost is their mana cost reduced by the amount of cards put from your library to the graveyard this turn. It isn't exactly that but I do believe that is the reduction. Which means you can respond to the surveil trigger with instant speed mill spells or effects and greatly reduce whatever enchantment you top deck.
So, they now know the name of the plane they're in. I wonder what card that is with Kaito falling through the mouth-morphed floor. Will there be cards that behave like traps when certain conditions are met? I'm *extremely* excited for this set. I'm loving these stories for the sets and look forward to more. It's like back when stories were told on the radio.
okay, nice to see the official channel do some audiostories, but for heaven's sake work on your audio! your mic is griseling and if i'm not mistaken you tried to edit out some background noise, considering how irregular and unnatural your levels are. It's good, but not as good as what others on youtube do.
Gotta say I’m a huge fan of these audio stories!!! I love that they’re putting these out here. Helps with the set immersion.
Me too! I was worried about the set’s aesthetic, but the story is really well written so far and I’m more hyped than I’d like to admit
Yeah, and esp I think it works best in this horror set. Such a sweet story, scary
I just wish they could have gotten Seiben at Aetherhub involved. He was doing this for years

they haven't yet
Loved the lore for years but I think this is the best format for them and hope they continue like this
“Very pleasant swordswoman without a name” 😂
Just the wanderer

I like the moody 80s synth music in the background, feels like something out of John Carpenter movie or something.
I’m in love with this audio stories. I love the MTG lore and now I can enjoy them while commuting

Funny this made me want to write a oneshot for my D&D group set in Duskmourn.
@@korosu8424 Oh, I am waiting for a Bloomburrow world guide. 😅

Thank you wizards for releasing this at the same time as the web fiction!

These audiobook style releases conpliment the eerie vibes of the set really well
This set is giving off SCP and backrooms vibes
I love all the lore theories and stuff but I have to ask... Why is the wanderer so pretty 😅😢
The house is straight out of Betrayal at House on the Hill.
Please show spoilers sooner than end of august I can’t wait anymore
I believe that is the feeling that they want you to have!
Well, we get lore now, then the D&D SLD on Monday so spoilers are probably next on the docket

The constant reminder of moths hint to a certain person possibly having something to do with this house…

Wow, this is so good. I'm hoping Tibalt makes an appearance in this universe.
Tyvar killed Tibalt, it even got a Story Spotlight card...........

Remake the three kingdoms set! Make it draftable! I don’t want to see my favorite game die…
