    Thanks for your very informative video. Just purchased a new, never used 2021 Chelsea 780 and am having trouble turning the FluidX jets. You mentioned a "key" that comes with the Owners Manual. The dealer I bought from knows nothing about a key and I did not receive an Owners Manual. Located the manual online but it does not mention a key either. Thoughts?

      Good afternoon, the key is only for the reflux jet and your dealer can call Sundance and get it. Some of the jets in the hot tub don't turn and some do. I good point of reference is your owners manual. I put it in the link below;

    Quick question. Do you happen to know if a 2X4 small block will fit under the cabinet, but against the frame? I'm looking at moving a 780 model (2021) and want to screw blocks to the floor of my trailer that are against the spa bottom to prevent it from moving (along with straps).. I don't want to hurt the cabinet. Thanks and appreciate all the great info you provide!

      Good afternoon, When we delivery hot tubs we use one big strap and pads to pad the shell. Be careful when strapping it as you don't want to over do it, you could crack the shell. Here's a link to straps we use;

      Hope this helps!

    Hey Brian, I have a question that I cannot get an answer on. My Chelsea 780 series has a little door on the top of the gate on the filter box. What is this for? My thoughts are possibly to add chlorine tablets but not sure and my hot tub store don't know either. TIA Stan

      Good afternoon, that is for a nature2 silver ion cartridge or the "SunPurity" for Sundance. This helps with water quality. If you aren't using one and you aren't on the @ease system I would get one and put it in there. Hope this helps!

    Thanks for all the videos and useful information. I had a Sundance hot tub for almost 20 years before I moved and had to leave it behind. I've been waiting to get another and I had settled on the 780 Hanover, but it looks like it has been discontinued. It was perfect for what I needed. Any idea if it may be available again?

      Good morning, the reason they discontinued the Sundance Hanover is because it didn't have 4 corner seats and most people really wanted that layout. I don't think it's coming back quiet frankly. Have you considered the Sundance Chelsee? This model is really close to the same thing just slightly larger. Hope this helps!

    I just bought a Chelsee (made 3/21). There's some water in the bottom pan (hoping not from a leak).. either way, are there weep holes or a plug to remove to get the water out? I would think so as it's possible to develop a leak at some point (at pumps or connections) and that water would make it's way to the bottom frame area.. but the outside bottom of the tub is a plastic bottom.. thoughts? We plan on removing all side panels to allow air to dry out any moisture. Hope that makes sense!

      Good morning! yes the pan is designed to drain out slowly over time if water gets into it. However, something that's commonly missed is a loose drain cap. Since the hot tubs go through the seasons sometimes the drain cap can loosen up a bit. I would tighten it down and see if it's your problem. It is possible that heavy rains and a big storm came through and a little water go into the pan that way. I don't know how your hot tub is set up so I would need a picture to better understand the installation of it if that makes since. This is a good place to start. If the problem persist I would call you dealer because the hot tub has a 5 year warranty. I assume it's something easily fixed. Hope this helps!

      The other thing is did you move this hot tub yourself? I know you asked me some questions about strapping it. If it's not moved properly, then a leak can happen as well. Again, not saying you did or didn't but something to consider as see stuff like this everyday when people try and move their own hot tub

      Good afternoon, the hole is probably where the old electrical conduit went up through at the old customers house or a vent hole for the electronics/motors to vent. If you want to call me and send me a picture I would know for sure. Hope this helps!

      @@atlantahottubcenter Thanks for all the answers! Tub was drained then moved yesterday and is still on the trailer. We used a couple PVC pipes to roll it from a platform that was at the same height as the trailer, so no tipping of the tub. When we loaded it, I noticed water leaking out of a panel and you could hear and see water sloshing around in the "pan" (putting fingers inside the cabinet in the corners is where you can feel it). We drove 160 miles in an enclosed trailer, so after we get it on the ground and I'll remove all the panels and corner pieces to verify it's dried out, but looking last night, it seemed all good/drier..) The pump area looked dry, but I agree the drain cap could have been loose from the seller, so I'll make sure that's all good once it's filled (won't be for a few weeks). I'm just relieved that there's weep holes or something to allow water out if it's to the bottom. I'll be sure to share a picture of the tube I'm referring to (as I'm not home right now to go take it). It's a clear tube, looks like a waterline.. I know a picture will how it better and I'll also look for one online. Not electrical, just runs from under the lip of the spa just below the top controls to a hole in the wood decking that the pumps are mounted to. Thanks again!

      Follow up on "water in the bottom pan". Tub empty, when it rains, water gets in the bottom pan. Dried it out completely. Put 2" of water in it to cover the bottom drain, let it sit a day.. no water in pan. (Yeah!). Next test was to spray water on backside panel to simulate rain.. did that for a good 10-15 minutes of mist on the cover flap and had it drip down the side panels on cabinet.. 1 hour later, water in the bottom pan.. (Bummer, but Yeah, found the issue). On this panel the staples on one side of the frame aren't holding it together tightly so that needs to be repaired (good luck duplicating the staple size, the proper air or electric stapler at an angle to no blast through the side of it...). May need to remove staples and try some adhesive and a small screw and fender washer to hold it snug.. again small screw to not go through panel to outside.. Called local dealer and the will gladly sell me a new panel.
      Anyone see the same? And may it be prudent to run a bead of clear silicone along the bottom of all panels and maybe up the sides (partway or all the way) to seal them better? Some water runs down the face of the cabinet, hits the frame and leaks onto the wood frame and then makes it's way to the bottom pan.. Thoughts??

    Have you reviewed Mira Hot tubs?

      Good morning, In my opinion Mira is like any other internet mass produced hot tub brand. This doesn’t make it a bad hot tub but it’s not a self supporting shell product. We have numerous videos showing the difference between self supporting and non self supporting shell products and I would do some further research. However, I don’t think Mira is a bad product by any means. This comes down to why you’re purchasing a hot tub. Hope this helps!
