I know Freddie personally. I was in the army with his brother Pepper at Fort Bragg. Pepper taught me how to box in the early 80's at the Ft Bragg boxing gym. It was good times back then. Pepper and I went to Boston a few times and I met the whole family. One of those trips was to see Freddie fight in the Boston Garden on the under-card of Marvelous Marvin Hagler's first middleweight title defense in 81. I also got to meet Freddie's trainer Eddie Futch that night. Being a longtime boxing fan from down south it was a good night for me and lots of good luck meeting Pepper, Freddie, and the entire Roach Family. They were all very good to me, including all of Pepper's friends in the Boston area.

Freddie Roach will go down as one of the all-time greatest trainers in boxing. His training methods fundamentally transform his fighters into the best that they can possibly be. He can take a solid fight and make them into a good fighter. He’ll take a good fighter and make them great. He’s able to add layers to a fighter’s game that were never there before. He taught one-handed Pacquiao how to use both hands. Taught him the art of movement and balance. How to body punch and stop head-hunting. Watching what he and Pacquiao were able to do together was magical. I love the guy.

Since Pacquiao didnt expirience a loved and support from he's real biological father. @chicken29843 There is sin in the world, humans commit evil of their own free will that God has given us. Satan and demons that have rebelled against the will of God convinced the first humans to reject God and participate in their rebellion against God and still do to this day. They also entice humanity to reject God's salvation and accept worship from humans in exchange for human sacrifice and detestable sexual ritual acts. Some of the most financially powerful people on the planet are among them. God sent his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to save humanity from the penalty of our sins and reconcile us to eternal forgiveness and salvation if we believe in him.

I always have high respect for Freddie Roach who had been a long time trainer for Manny Pacquiao. At a time when many critics talked trash about Roach, Pacquiao was racking victory after victory against top contenders and beating world champions to become himself, a multiple world champion in eight weight classes. Those critics had to eat their words.

Roach developing his fighters defences by improving their offence a little bit too much. Pacquiao became a defencive master in a lowkey manner when Pacquiao started to develop that right hook. he started to learn how to become responsible in his defence after throwing a right counter hook to win the exchanges most of the time. and Roach improved Cotto's placement of punches plus he became more technical throwing his jabs which are already his main weapon.

I remember seeing Pacquiao fight for the first time, having watch boxing for years I was like “this guy is different”. The angles he used and just didn’t get tired. You can’t teach that, some people are stand outs from the pack. I can see why so many people passed on him, experts just didn’t know what they were looking at but Freddie Roach did and capitalized on finding a diamond in the rough.

It’s even reported in the news in the Philippines that every time Pacquiao fights, the crime rate drops. That’s a whole different level when even rebels stop to watch Manny fight. The only 8 division world champion. GOAT!

And then it happened, the rise of a Legend. But there were still doubts for me at every Step, no Filipino Boxer had ever gone before as far as Manny did.

Barrera fight is what broke him through man. My cousin was with me and he became a fan. He said that dude is going to be somebody and he did man. Pacman did.

I liked how Foreman might as well have been Lebdwaba's hypeman or publicist during his commentary.
Every word he spoke was evidence that he himself thought rhe fight had 60 to 1 odds or worse for Pa Kai Yow [ lol ] !
Foreman kept hyping him up and every word might as well have been :
"Any Time Now. IT will Be Any Time Now and Lebdwaba this master boxer will put Pa KAI YOW away !"
Even as the minutes tick by and Pacquiao goes from *DECIMATING 2 DOMINATING* This "Master Boxer from South Africa" !
It always cracks me up how Big George could be so wrong and out of touch.
Big George may have seen Lebdwaba fight, but he definitely had no clue who Pacquiao was. [ He May Not even have realky known who Lebdwaba was or seen him fight either lol ]
    *LOVE IT, EVERYTIME !¡!*
