      Thanks mate. Alot of work went into getting that right. The best part is if i ever get another car i can just transfer the whole canopy straight onto the tray.

    That's a great set up mate and almost exactly what I would want to install, accept with a 85l fridge. Did you check to see if a 85l would for inside your canopy ?

      @@davidcowan1583 you could use one to isolate a cig outlet or maybe some side facing work lights on the outside of the canopy for setting up at night. Definitely one of the best Canopy setups I’ve seen!

    I know it's a old video but awesome setup mate, very similar to what I have in mind as I already have the same fridge and was looking at the same size canopy to keep the weight where I should be......if you see this and have any advice on what you would change let me know.

      Yeah mate got one video planned in less than two weeks havent been able to get out due to the hilux having issues. Will be doing a video on the hilux getting new injectirs and a tune.

      Than you so much. Yeah its awesome. It was a must to keep the weight down. I am at gvm atm with this setup so i can only image how much over weight every other hilux is with massive canopies are.

      @@LapsofMaps the hilux is pretty much almost done. Just twin lockers and new diff gears and thats pretty much done until new tyres come

      Nah mate unfortunately for the last 4 months we can't go anywhere expect within 5km of our house for essentials only. It's killing me can't go 4wding.

    Hi mate how wide is the canopy? Do you think the bushman fridge will fit in a 600mm wide canopy?

      It will fit i had about 100mm to spare. Just check what thedistance is between the door opening is.

      Ok thanks when the bushman fridge opens does it become wider than the starting width, also just thinking g of the strut mounts might be a problem. Thanks for getting back to me so fast👍

      @@chrisoakey5269 yes it will if you want to remove the shelves. But you can remove the door very easily with two bolts so if you want to get the shelves out you still can. You could look at the smalker fridge such as the 50L. The 50L is 385mm wide including the mounting plate. Mine is 455mm wide including the mounting plate.

      Hey mate. 1. The fridge is screwed into the front of the wooden frame we made. 2. The brand of the LED i am unsure but you can get them from many places like ozled, drifta make them and if you are around Sydney Offroad systems sell them which is where the build was done. Hope that helps mate

      Yeah plenty big enough I have space case where I keep all my spare parts abd stuff plus I have a full length Trundle draw. I keep mostly food, cooking hear and clothes in the canopy. The rest is stored elsewhere. Plenty of space.

    I thought the Manager 30 needed 10cm free of space to let heat escape (being a heat sink). How do you go with it in the heat having no space between it and the fridge? I have the manager 30 and same fridge too so keen to know and also save some space. Cheers man

      Yeah mate no dramas at all as there is room behind and in front to allow air flow through. Never had an issue been running the fridge now for 9 months never turned it off and the battery is never less than 90%.

    hey mate how do you find the standing fridge going over hectic terrain? and can you pack as much stuff as a 65L chest freezer for long trips ? i like to go nuts in my LSA Landcruiser and would hate for everything to fly around. Weight savings look awesome. Cheers

      Yeah mate pack to your heart content. I have taking this fridge to my waljers hard tracks, lithgows tough tracks, barrington tops and bridle track in hill end. Absolutely no dramas. You just need to pack it right. Even use containers is not a bad idea. But i just pack it no containers. Nothing really flies around. Only little thing i have found is that the second shelve moves sometimes but easy fix with double sided tape and now never had an issue. Worth every penny. I did the math and with this and not a chest and drop side i am saving anywhere from 50 - 70kgs. Plus with the lithium i am saving probably around 30 - 40kg on top.

      I dont actually i am thinking of doing this in the future but the temp inside for the battery at its highest i have seen was about 35 degs which is not to bad

      @@wantedman52 so mine is 65l. The 85l will fit but you wont be able to have the table and panel above like i have it simply wont fit. I would definitely measure up and check what you can fit. I would go upright everyday of the week saves power and weight and is so convenient

      @@davidcowan1583 yeh I’m building one atm. I think insulation is only good if you vent it extremely well so the hot air created from the fridge trapped inside can escapee

      The entire fitout cost was about 10k that includes all of the electronics and draws and watertank. That doesnt include canopy itself and fridge

      Awesome mate. Been running for 9 months now never turned it off. Battery drops to like 90% overnight.

      @@ryansmith9283 i had a custom ply wood cage made up for it and the front panel is screwed into that. You can now buy like metal cages for them.

      @@xsho1928 the canopy itself according the website is 48kg. I dont have the total of just the canopy but roughly i would say about 100kg. For some perspective the car had a steel tray before only qt the car weighted 2.24t once i qdded the new aluminium tray with Trundle, side boxes amd canopy empty it was 2.30t. Fully fitted put with all my tools full water tank and some other accessories like a winch total was 2.58t. Hope that helps mate.

      @@jaredtansley3236 the fitout itself was about $8k that's including labour and lithium battery. It's a custom setup so that's why it's a bit more expensive. That's not including the fridge
