Boxer Rex is a Swedish male boxer born 14th of August 2015 and lives outside of Landskrona in the south of Sweden. He´s loving, fun, crazy, energetic, faithful and a typical high energy boxer. It´s never a dull moment when you are with Rex. He comes from the Relative´s Kennel breeder in Kågeröd in Sweden and his breeder name is Relative´s Michelangelo - but we call him Rex witch means KING in Latin. Subscribe to see him grow.

I like a boxer with tail but in the States the tails of boxers are cut down. I agree with Sweden. I love Rex’s tail, ears and button.🦋❤️❤️❤️
I wish America was as respectful of animals as Sweden seems to be. Dogs especially deserve it. There is basically zero regulation in breeding, so we have puppy mills. Dogs deserve so much better. Rex is gorgeous.

Regulation in the U.S. is one of those things that can vary not just from state to state but county to county and even city to city. I would have to check for more accuracy, but I think there is no actual federal legislation outside of agricultural-type regulation to prevent spread of disease between mammals. Breed standards (like for the ears and tail) are the province of the American Kennel Club primarily, but may vary for smaller kennel clubs.

Rex is lovely and proud a real gem, Here in England it is now illigal to dock the tail and ears, but ive had Boxers for over 20 yrs. they are the best breed in my opinion.

Boxers are awesome, although I am also enamored with pugs. I do hope that the AKC (American Kennel Club) drops its requirement for cropped ears for a boxer to be shown in competitions. It should be banned.in the entire U.S.

Rex is a bilingual boxer ! I don't know Swedish but Rex speaks the exact same "Boxer" as my boy does. I've had boxers in my life since I was a teen. Great breed if you have the time, space and temperament for such an active & fairly big dog.
Yeah he understand both Swedish and some English but mostly my tone of voice if think.

Cropping ears and docking tails is horrible mutilation and I am so glad you did not do it to Boxer Rex. Boxer Lulu, we got as a rescue and her tail is docked but ears are intact. I love Boxer Rex, he is so playful and cute. As Boxers go Boxer Lulu is smaller, she is 4 years old tomorrow and 21.3kg. Boxers are just like no other dog.

It was lovely to see Rex and his joy of life. We lost our beautiful girl Boxer Bella last week after 11 years. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye. One day we will make space in our home and hearts for another Boxer.

He truly is beautiful as is and after having a pug for 16 growing up, and adopting a bred then dumped pit, I really want to get a boxer next when the circumstances in my life fit nicely to give the boxer enough activity and companionship.
Being single, I can't work 8(often) - 16(more often then I'd like) and be fair to a dog. So I'm dogless for now.

While I loved this video, and learned a lot, about Boxers, Sweden and Rex, I have to admit, I never wondered about any of these things. Rex is a gorgeous, loving, friendly active dog, with an amazing family that cares for him very much. I love Rex just the way his is, with a giant personality. I eagerly watch the videos because they're fun and happy and playful and - they make me smile and laugh. I always come away feeling happier, and a bit more knowledgeable. We rescued an elderly Boxer last year who fortunately had not had her ears or tail cut. We love her, but wish the U.S. had more stringent laws against animal abuse. Rex is wonderful; I'm glad he has you.

Hey guys! Andrew from Melbourne Victoria Australia here! My mum got a puppy when I was born in 1961! We have had 5 boxer males called Rex and 1 female called Misty! They're all gone now and I am tempted to get another boxer and yes call him Rex! We agree with not docking their tails or cropping their ears!! The Americans crop and doc! I am used to a short tail but it does not matter now! Boxers have no vice and are never vicious! I love your Rex! Cheers from Australia! Andrew! XXX

Dogs suffer agony when their ears or cropped. We have a Giant Schnauzer who came to us with her tail cropped. She had phantom tail and would scream in pain. I don’t like cropping or docking and wish it were outlawed in the United States. Our Boxer has his beautiful floppy ears but his tail was cropped Asher he was born. He is wonderful, smart, west and very gentle. I live this video and agree with all of it.

My boxer used to do the same thing some mornings and nudge his food bowl like he wanted to bury it. I would hear his stomach making noises and I figured out that his stomach is very sensitive and if I didn't wake up and feed him early enough, he would do this and it was only in the mornings. I think his stomach was just so empty in the mornings because boxer's metabolisms are so fast that it was making him nauseous and not want to eat. So I found that if I feed him at 7 at night I will need to feed him by 7 in the morning or he will not eat. So days that I want to sleep in, I won't feed him dinner until 9 or 10 pm and this has fixed the problem! Just feeding dinner later should help

Just watched Rex play with the Pilates ball. Loved to watch his energy and persistence trying to control such a big ball. My Phoenix had many favorites, including a basket ball, soccer ball and hula hoop. The soccer ball had a tether attached, so we could play a match together, I would dribble and she would try to snatch the ball and run with it.

Actually garlic is fine. It takes about 15 full bulbs daily to cause any issue. 1 clove minced into their food daily is not only good for many issues, but it will keep fleas away.

He's a very slow eater, that's great! My latest boxer, a 6 month Deutsche standard male we rehomed is a very fast eater right now so we have to feed small meals often to make sure he doesn't get GDV (aka Bloat). He is a bit of a tank right now, he's 27.9kg and muscular. I think he'll be a very large boxer one day. Rex is a gorgeous dog and I agree, his ears and tails are such a large part of his character. My boxer has full ears but a cropped tail.

I just fell in love with Rex. On July 1st I will be getting my 2nd female boxer from a breeder. My first female passed away this past April 2nd. So seeing Rex made me happy because he looks just like the way my female boxer did. Thank you for sharing your beautiful dog with the world. Wish I could meet him but I'm in Texas.

BoxerRex thank you so much. I miss her everyday. She was only 3 months old. We gave her the parvo shots and she still got parvo. I was taking her to the vet and on our way she passed away in the car. But Rex brought me happiness. Have a great weekend too.

You are AMAZING owners, and Rex is so very lucky to have you for parents. I love it when I hear breeders are very careful and selective about WHO they allow puppies to be sold to. TOO MANY breeders sell their animals (birds, dogs, cats, etc) willie-nillie, all for the almighty dollar. It's very, very sad.

I love the videos of Rex as a puppy and we get the same questions about our Danes. But I did not know that garlic was bad for dogs. Our vet nor the breeder we deal with have ever told us that. Thanks for the tips.
