      Yeah I know I'm struggling to catch anything myself. Hopefully, I've got some ragworm for this bank holiday weekend and at some point I might try fishing at Beer or Seaton. Next month it should start warming up so moor fish are on way. Stay happy Mark.

    Had no idea you could pick up Gurnards down there! I've always overlooked Dawlish as a fishing spot, purely because there's such good places around Torbay to fish. Think I'll go down after work tomorrow for a few casts.

    • @Manofthemoment100
      @Manofthemoment100  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah Dawlish is quite a good spot for them, the second part of my video Gurnard caught by my foot I caught some gurnards that was off the wall at Dawlish by the foot bridge on baited feathers. All the best Mark.

    I'm off here for a week holiday in May.. if I take my little lure rod is there anywhere I can fish? Never sea fished before however

    • @Manofthemoment100
      @Manofthemoment100  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hope you enjoy your holiday, as regards the fishing in my last video (Sunrise at Coryton cove) you can see a breakwater as the sun comes up well from there at high tide should be good. If you take a look when the tide is out you should see some good places to fish. All the best Mark. PS Reflections cafe is nice.

    • @Manofthemoment100
      @Manofthemoment100  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@leafysfishing Just down the road towards the river Exe is a railway line where you can cross over the tracks and fish the estuary, ragworm if you can get it for bass and flounder there also use shads. Langstone rock is pretty good it's on the right of Dawlish warren best to fish it with the tide going out. Should be a good holiday lady's mile is nice.

    • @Manofthemoment100
      @Manofthemoment100  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Martin, It's call Boat Cove to the right facing the sea and just around the corner from there is Coryton Cove a bit more secluded, hope the weather is kind for you as I'm sure you will enjoy your stay, people are friendly and Dawlish is a lovely place. All the best Mark.

    • @Manofthemoment100
      @Manofthemoment100  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@martingriffiths199 All along the front is good for fishing, from the harbour wall or the centre break water float/feathers or a Dexter wedge is OK . From the beaches baited rigs are better, Coryton cove has lots of weed.

    • @Manofthemoment100
      @Manofthemoment100  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      One other thing Martin, if you fish from the harbour wall looking out to sea to your right is a bit rocky to the left is fine best to try one hour before high tide and one hour after, if you get the chance take pictures at low tide. Good luck.
