I don't think Kinemon could hurt Ace with his ability alone - it would merely disperse his body for a few moments... if he used haki, that would be a different story...
I'd like to point out here that he not only cuts the heat and fire emitted from the explosion, he also cuts/negates the kinetic energy and concussive force created by the explosion as well. We need to create a real world bomb disposal team with this guy leading it.
