Isn't Arc Warden the strongest playable character (before he was split)? Because in the lore, God's mind split into Radiant, Dire, and Zet (Arc Warden). He was able to overpower them and lock them in a moon, which took away most of his power in the process.
Actually the original Arc was the strongest being, because he and the Ancients were parts of the primordial conciousness that has existed before anything (except for the realm of Claszureme). The Titans were merely witnesses to the creation of the Dota universe before they became the shapers of worlds.

My understanding of lore would make AA not the strongest, if anything weaver is the strongest as he is literally the "weaver" of the fabric of reality and chose to make his own reality. Then KOTL, IO, Chaos Knight, and Enigma the next strongest as they represent the fundamental forces of the natural world.

Lore isn't what AA does in his daily life, it's what makes AA a physical being. You don't need to relate to characters because they're just historical figures. I don't need to be able to relate to Julius Caesar or need to know what he did in his daily life to appreciate and understand his feats. Lore is NOT a story. Lore has stories inside of it. History is NOT a story. History has stories inside of it. Baumi just can't make the distinction.
Enigma is Gravity not Entropy , Entropy is AA (the end of everything). At the end of it AA is probably the strongest one . But at the moment he is not because as everything come it end , AA get stronger. But there still plenty of living thing meaning he still not at his maximum power.
In Arc's lore he was shattered and made super weak after failing to reunite the Ancients. That means in his lore he is weak before the game of Dota we participate in starts. It canonically makes sense that he would be weak in Dota.
Arc is the third ancient. And the one that was shattered is the original "self" which gave rise to Zet (Arc Warden), Dirrithul (Dire) , and Radinthul (Radiant). In theory, he should be on par or stronger than the two ancients given that he once successfully imprisoned them (the only reason they broke out is that they destroyed the prison aka the moon). Lowballing Arc, he should still be at the very least stronger than Zeus as he was shown to be able to restore a fragment of his powers without difficulty.

That’s because it was slapped together as an afterthought yeah, but it draws on many actual myths and legends from various cultures. In bits and pieces it’s really interesting; and decently written. Just don’t ask it to tell a compelling and directed narrative - it’s not really supposed to. As for the stakes; every story can’t have every character be empathised with (not emphasised). It’s a great big epic fantasy saga; if you could identify with the motivations of the great and powerful all-knowing gods, what would make them different from joe blow? Why would there even be a mythos and grandeur surrounding them? I think you were just ranting and having fun but ya really went off the rails with that one. Heart Of Terrask needs to be buffed considerably: giving reincarnation on a timer, Loads of health regen and then a Boss walks in from the edge of the map flattening trees ignore buildings and just try to kill you for stealing one of it's hearts. The Terrask needs to have enough regen to be effectively immortal: pick whatever ability you want to make that happen. If it kills you, it heads to the Roshan pit and kills him when/if he spawns and picks up Agis, Cheese and denies the Refresher shard. When you respawn: it hunts. If multiple are bought: he hunts ALL of you, one at a time. If 12 hearts are bought in a single game: it falls over dead and the final purchase earns the last hit earning half a million in game gold. Then get killed by a bolt from the sky 2 seconds later and set on a 99,999 second respawn timer (the hostile ancient has banished you)
The four fundamentals are a just forces of the universe as the four were just personification of Fundamental Interactions. Enigma being Gravitational, Io is based on strong nuclear forces, Chaos is based on Weak Nuclear Force or Nuclear Decay, Kotl is Electromagnetic.
The scale of the battles is high but the stakes are low. Nothing is ever at risk because Saitama will never lose. Furthermore our entire experience with Saitama (who's the main focus of the series) is more on the small and relatable details of his humanity. How he's bored and is just trying to find something fun to do

You watch it and show tells you a story of main character in shocking 3 minutes with what story will now work ? Now you have a strongest human who can't die or lose isn't that a high stakes ?

Zeus lore is comical but it does actually mythology friendly, he has many illegitimate children, even amongst gods and titans. The guy routinely would come down from his home on mount Olympus as a plethora of different forms and get busy, I believe he took these forms because mortals can’t view a god if they would die or something.

I remember watching a video and the strongest characters were determined to be: - Weaver (Can weave reality itself) - Faceless Void (Can travel through time at will) - Enigma (Can control dark matter and gravity) - Io (Can control non-dark matter and connect matter together) - Ancient Apparition (Is the living embodiment of the universal “Heat Death”) Notable weaker heroes than people expect are the Gods (essentially just very powerful, immortal versions of their mortal archetype), Arc Warden (who was shattered into fragments), and Doom (similar to the Gods but slightly more powerful).

Dota 2 but Every Hero is Techies From a Different Universe. Each different universe Techies has slightly different variations of his stats and ability strengths and you have no idea which ones are the strongest ones until you play it. They each also have some random gimmick that makes them slightly different in their universe.
AA is the representative of the Universe's most likely ending, in which state, everything stay at the same temperature and due to some physical laws, that means no energy can be transferred to be frank. The Fundamentals are basically strongest based on the lore as they represent the physical lore of the universe themselves, CK is the Strong Nuclear Force, KOTL is the Weak Nuclear Force, IO is Electromagnetic and Enigma is Gravity. Weaver is like an interdimensional seamstress who weaves reality itself though I don't know which one as basically, there are several realms in the world of DotA 2 and Elder Titan surely created the one for the Fundamentals to stay in.
First few mins: I hate stories where the stakes are too high like when main characters might die just make them lose a finger or something. Few mins later: Game of Thrones was so good cause they killed off main characters. Baumi logic in a nutshell

And I love Dota lore, I am that kind of a guy who's always reading all characters abilities/story/even responses while playing something and I must say- lore is freaking mysterious and great. And they're fighting against because of a rational and good reason. And that's why almost all skins are dark, creepy or grotesque (which actually kinda hurts, I'd love to have some sweet and charming skin, but it wouldn't fit the heroes art style)

Isn't Arc Warden the strongest playable character (before he was split)? Because in the lore, God's mind split into Radiant, Dire, and Zet (Arc Warden). He was able to overpower them and lock them in a moon, which took away most of his power in the process.
Actually the original Arc was the strongest being, because he and the Ancients were parts of the primordial conciousness that has existed before anything (except for the realm of Claszureme). The Titans were merely witnesses to the creation of the Dota universe before they became the shapers of worlds.

Saying comics aren't literature because they have pictures is like symphonic/orchestral metal isn't symphonic or orchestral because they include singing. It takes more effort to do the same exact thing but with more detail thrown in. I should know. I've personally tried my hand in both. My understanding of lore would make AA not the strongest, if anything weaver is the strongest as he is literally the "weaver" of the fabric of reality and chose to make his own reality. Then KOTL, IO, Chaos Knight, and Enigma the next strongest as they represent the fundamental forces of the natural world.

That rant really pushed my buttons. Baumi is treating the lore like one big story. But that's not what lore is. Lore is fictional history. Lore isn't what AA does in his daily life, it's what makes AA a physical being. You don't need to relate to characters because they're just historical figures. I don't need to be able to relate to Julius Caesar or need to know what he did in his daily life to appreciate and understand his feats.

The push and pull in all of the universe..
In Arc's lore he was shattered and made super weak after failing to reunite the Ancients. That means in his lore he is weak before the game of Dota we participate in starts. It canonically makes sense that he would be weak in Dota.
Arc is the third ancient. And the one that was shattered is the original "self" which gave rise to Zet (Arc Warden), Dirrithul (Dire) , and Radinthul (Radiant). In theory, he should be on par or stronger than the two ancients given that he once successfully imprisoned them (the only reason they broke out is that they destroyed the prison aka the moon). Lowballing Arc, he should still be at the very least stronger than Zeus as he was shown to be able to restore a fragment of his powers without difficulty.
The four fundamental forces does not only exist in dota i believe, but also in our world. The four fundamental forces is strong force, weak force, electromagnetic, and gravity, correct me if i'm wrong.

That’s because it was slapped together as an afterthought yeah, but it draws on many actual myths and legends from various cultures. In bits and pieces it’s really interesting; and decently written. Just don’t ask it to tell a compelling and directed narrative - it’s not really supposed to.
As for the stakes; every story can’t have every character be empathised with (not emphasised). It’s a great big epic fantasy saga; if you could identify with the motivations of the great and powerful all-knowing gods, what would make them different from joe blow? Why would there even be a mythos and grandeur surrounding them?

Heart Of Terrask needs to be buffed considerably: giving reincarnation on a timer, Loads of health regen and then a Boss walks in from the edge of the map flattening trees ignore buildings and just try to kill you for stealing one of it's hearts.
The Terrask needs to have enough regen to be effectively immortal: pick whatever ability you want to make that happen. If it kills you, it heads to the Roshan pit and kills him when/if he spawns and picks up Agis, Cheese and denies the Refresher shard.
When you respawn: it hunts. If multiple are bought: he hunts ALL of you, one at a time.
If 12 hearts are bought in a single game: it falls over dead and the final purchase earns the last hit earning half a million in game gold.
Then get killed by a bolt from the sky 2 seconds later and set on a 99,999 second respawn timer (the hostile ancient has banished you)

The scale of the battles is high but the stakes are low. Nothing is ever at risk because Saitama will never lose. Furthermore our entire experience with Saitama (who's the main focus of the series) is more on the small and relatable details of his humanity. How he's bored and is just trying to find something fun to do
I mean the whole plot stakes... You have a man who kills all in one punch you think what can be really interesting in this ? You watch it and show tells you a story of main character in shocking 3 minutes with what story will now work ? Now you have a strongest human who can't die or lose isn't that a high stakes ?
@@evilnaturalwater3617 the stakes are what a character stands to gain or lose depending on the outcome of the conflict, high stakes means they will lose a lot, low stakes means they will lose very little. Saitama never really stands to lose anything because it is well established that he will never loss, thus the stakes are low.

I remember watching a video and the strongest characters were determined to be:
- Weaver (Can weave reality itself)
- Faceless Void (Can travel through time at will)
- Enigma (Can control dark matter and gravity)
- Io (Can control non-dark matter and connect matter together)
- Ancient Apparition (Is the living embodiment of the universal “Heat Death”)
Notable weaker heroes than people expect are the Gods (essentially just very powerful, immortal versions of their mortal archetype), Arc Warden (who was shattered into fragments), and Doom (similar to the Gods but slightly more powerful).

Each different universe Techies has slightly different variations of his stats and ability strengths and you have no idea which ones are the strongest ones until you play it. They each also have some random gimmick that makes them slightly different in their universe.
Enigma - gravity
Chaos knight - weak interaction (responsible for radioactive decay)
KotL - electromagnetism
Io - strong interaction (responsible for binding atomic particles (proton, neutron and also gluons and quarks) together)

AA is the representative of the Universe's most likely ending, in which state, everything stay at the same temperature and due to some physical laws, that means no energy can be transferred to be frank. The Fundamentals are basically strongest based on the lore as they represent the physical lore of the universe themselves, CK is the Strong Nuclear Force, KOTL is the Weak Nuclear Force, IO is Electromagnetic and Enigma is Gravity. Weaver is like an interdimensional seamstress who weaves reality itself though I don't know which one as basically, there are several realms in the world of DotA 2 and Elder Titan surely created the one for the Fundamentals to stay in.
First few mins: I hate stories where the stakes are too high like when main characters might die just make them lose a finger or something.
Few mins later: Game of Thrones was so good cause they killed off main characters.
