I had the same thought process about the parents interview. As a mother NOTHING would stop me from hugging my child after vanishing for 49 hours! Prior to that I was so concerned about this young lady and was very alarmed. My son is going to UA and that was close to home. I immediately talked to him about not pulling over, but calling 911. The sad thing is that everyone in the community and surrounding areas, to include Aniah Blanchards mom, her daughter was found dead, was looking for this young lady. What a slap in the faces of so many children and women that have been abducted and never returned. Sickening! She destroyed her life on top of it, who will ever hire her?

As someone who has endured hell, sexual assault and the arduous process of police reports and then extreme prodding by police... this infuriates me. It makes it SO SO SO much harder for actual victims. Police get more jaded (understandably).

I think the police are trying to play it cool and not reveal charges will be brought. They want to keep that open communication with those who know and love her in order to get even more information and all ducks in a row to lay this thing out in its entirety. The police don’t want to scare anybody off too soon who may have information that can connect certain dots.

You hear nothing from police... almost lost hope and think you're child is dead.... then you see a news cast where a woman was kidnapped when trying to save a "white toddler" which matches your description of your son. You think there is some hope that your son is alive.... so you stay connected to the story and try to get information.... only to find out it was a hoax and there was no child and they did it all for attention. Having that hope and then ripping it away is heartbreaking

BAMFI has pushed the national center for missing children off many TV show sponsor spots and crime shows. Sadly this means all of those children of ALL races represented by Missing are now not seen on national media, only Black missing women and children. That is t fair to all thecmisding children which includes black children, indigenous children and every other ethnicity and race.
This whole situation is awful. There’s people getting abducted every day and she planned this whole thing. I will never understand why. I hope she gets jail time. Faking an abduction is not a joke. Thank you for making this video!

We immediately went into prayer when we first heard of her disappearance. We prayed that she would be returned to her family safe and unharmed. We are grateful that prayer was answered. Now we are praying that this young woman will get whatever help she needs to increase her awareness of integrity and morality. I have been a licensed nurse for over 49 years. Ethics, integrity and good moral character is essential if she wants to become a member of the healthcare industry. We are laughing, however, we recognize this young lady has some serious issues that need to be addressed.
Absolutely. This speaks to her character. She might have been a horrible person for years and never was held accountable as others suffered in silence. I saw a video on Pink Book Lessons that details a post she made that seems to suggest that she is a real mean girl. I feel so sorry for her parents because this is extraordinarily embarrassing and they have to still live and work in the community. Shame on her. She needs to come out with a statement that apologizes to her parents, neighbors, friends, family, and the world. I prayed for this girl!!! My prayer was wasted.

One of the community organizers was Aniah Blanchard’s mom. Aniah was actually abducted and murdered in Alabama a few years ago. Her mom was asked to organize a local search. I lived in bham for four years and went to the same mma gym as Aniahs step dad. I’m disgusted for them.
