Thank you for this!! I've always felt a little intimidated when I read in a mod description that chargenmorph compiler is needed because I never understood how it works but now I can actually download them! xD :)
Thank you! I was actually having trouble running it as well until I turned off overclocking on my PC. It was a really strange fix that might have just been placebo, but I've now played for about 16 hours with only one crash to desktop. I'm no PC expert, but it might be worth a try!
Did you try making it large address aware? If you're modding it pretty heavily you might need to do that to keep it from crashing. That might not be the problem for you though. I just found out about it recently and it changed everything for me so I thought I would recommend it.
It's possible that you only have one; in this case, you actually wouldn't need the Compiler since there's nothing to compile, but I still recommend that you hold onto it in case you decide to add a mod that does have another chargenmorph file at some point. But if you know that you have multiple mods with a chargenmorph file that the Compiler is just not discovering (which I'm happy to help you check if you want to send me your mod list), you'll want to first double-check that your override folder location is correct under the "Path Configuration" tab of the Compiler, and then make sure that you've organized all the mod files in their own folders within the override folder (just make sure you didn't accidentally extract all the files from their respective folders and mix them all together in the override - each mod should have its own folder). If I didn't find the solution here, let me know, and I'll keep searching for an answer with you!
Hi! Great tutorial! I start playing DAO 2 a couple days ago, and put some point in archery for my rogue, now i regret! I know thet there is a potion something call maker's sight that let me respec, but the thing is, i dont know how to get it, or how long for the option to get it to show up, is there any way i can give myself this item?
Thank you! You can buy the potion at the Black Emporium. Though I will say, I too wasn't sure about archery, but I actually ended up really liking it! My party was mostly my Rogue Archer Hawke, Varric, Anders, and Fenris, so Hawke and Varric stood back shooting while Anders used ranged spells and healed, then Fenris just tanked, and it worked out well. There are some good AoE talents like Hail of Arrows that I highly recommend. 👍
I don't use them because I'm afraid of breaking my save, but it looks like they can be enabled a couple of different ways: dragonage.fandom.com/wiki/Console_(Dragon_Age_II)

You're welcome! I hope it was helpful.
I wish I could play DA2, for some reason although my computer runs DAO and DAI without problems, but 2 doesn't, very good video!

I bought it from EA last night
Can i mod it from EA directly like steam?
I never modded a game on EA before
Yep! Your game and override folder will just be in a different location, but you can find that in EA.
What about console comands? Can't find nothing online :(

do you need any 4GB updater patch or anything like DA Origins?
Nope!
