- Turks are the largest tea consumers in the world. We travelled to the Black Sea region of Turkey to find out how tea is produced.

When i was studying in Olomouc, Czech Republic, there was this old Turkish guy opening a kebab shop. still remember the 1st time having meal there with friends during a cold winter day, he served us nice cup of turkish tea. the best tea ever in my life.
and when we finished our meal, we pay for our meal and he didn't charge for the tea. Still remember he said, Turkish people never charge a penny for cups of turkish tea, never. Serving turkish tea to others is a sign of they are accepting you as their guest to their place.

Sri Lanka is world most famous tea exporter also our country is agricultural country but our country need good technology and more aids or soft loans for develop the agriculture and tea industry if President Erdogan And Turkish government can help and provide technology and aids to Sri Lanka for build agriculture and tea industry than our peoples will be happy about that. I thanks to President Erdogan government because turkey already provided lot of helps and aids to Sri Lankan peoples for build fishing industry,build agriculture,build education,build health and build economy. Turkey and Sri Lanka trade more than 300 million US dollars. turkey import tea and lot of other food related products from us also we import fabric products,jackets,shoes,winter wears,medicines and electronic items from Turkey. Sri Lanka and Turkey have good friendship from 90’s. I like if President Erdogan can make official visit to our country at 2020 and make bilateral agreement with president Rajapaksha regard agriculture,trade and education.
