It's the nature of how the holographic effect is created-the particles have to be a particular shape. This example is called linear holo; even scatter holo does this with a looser effect as seen on a lot of their projects.
Oh man, this video really had it all. First of all, thank you for the big beaker for mixing, that silver flake mix just hit different, and it was so fun to see. New spray music, new(?) reveal music, extended bloopers. But that reveal was something else! I genuinely exclaimed "Oh S***!" so loudly a coworker came to check on me. Did not seeing this coming out so well after I saw that mix.

Once all of them were mixed it almost had a metallic root beer look and feel to it. Once sprayed definitely got plenty of the holographic pop and at a few angles is has that root beer cast/hue. Kinda cool.
hey Fonzie, I know you guys like to highlight the effects with close-up shots at different angles, but could you incorporate a 20 foot view in as well? maybe start 20-30 feet away and then walk up and do all the close up shots? every so often you do a finish that makes me wonder what it would look like if you weren't right next to it. most of the time it ends up being something we'll never know.

Would love to see all these colors sprayed individually by one coat each on top of each other. And sprayed over a white base coat . Love it on the darker base . Great mix .
I love this! I would love to see like 2 or 3 colors done the same way! Purple, green and orange would be fun for Halloween. I personally love a teal and purple mixed! Then add a silver to help it spread out.
Ok here’s a question you we see what happens when you mix them …do you think it would have a different effect if you layered them Individually ? And would the order you layer them have different effects?
When mixing, and it turned brown...I thought this is going to look like heck. But when the camera can't even keep up with the flip flop of the dip, that's a success! Totally amazing

That’s Legit Holographic Rainbow 🌈 ‼️ It looks amazing for most angles. The liquid looked brown when it was being poured. I would definitely drive this‼️😉👍🏼
It looks like an electric billboard. Very "Here I Am". Too flashy for me but you have definitely succeeded in your experiment. These are my favorite videos to watch. Keep 'em coming. 👍👍
So I’ve been watching your videos and checking out some of the Perl paint jobs. I guess I’m getting old (64) as I’m thinking paint ….. This is so cool that what you’re spraying on can be peeled off. I’m just blown away! I think highlighting my corvette is in its future! Just amazing!
Reminds me of the ‘96 Mystic Mustang Cobra, I love it!! It’s always mesmerizing watching the slo-mo pour & mix, but man this took it up a few notches! 👍🏼👍🏼
Totally thought this was going to show like an oiled bronze, but I was WRONG!! Delicious is my first reaction. Amazing work. I know Fonzi said they laid 4 clear coats to manage the flake texture, but I still want to know if that gave a smooth finish. Parts of the reveal look smooth, other angles look very textured. Either way, I'm in!
My jaw literally dropped as soon as I saw - it's so INTENSE! This is better than the glitterbomb Mustang! It's gorgeous. I couldn't even drive that, I'd be sitting outside, staring at it all day.

The first 3 colors added almost made a rose gold! A bit more of the purple I think would do it!!!
