That little metal piece on 1:15 is a tool for tightening the screw that holds the blade. Use the middle triangular shaped hole for that. I wish they made the handle longer but narrower in profile when folded. In its present shape it's not handy and awkward to use. Wasted money for me.
These are great little utility knives, i use them at work everyday. The only problem i have had with them is that blade thumb screw, it is possible to rotate that screw with friction from what you are cutting, its happened several times to me. The best thing is to use pliers to really torque the blade change screw well. I have started using the Boker Kalishnikov utility knife lately, but these 9TIEDC are great.

At first it is short but once you get used to it, you will stop cutting your hand and it is very capable of intricate tasks because it is short. I added a ceramic blade to mine and use it like exacto knife and love it. Especially for the price. It is a 5th pocket carry for me and I love it
Its possible to grind down the locking part so that with some pressure the lock bar slides back and the blade closes, just take it slowly add test fit it alot with small adjustments but its possible. Ive done it on my bm full immunity and its 10/10 definitely worth trying
Thanks for wasting my time with a folding kitchen knife when I clicked box cutter video. Then show me to more expensive versions of a cheaper one that smashes both of those. And you are unaware of the u1 that is cheaper and better than both of those knives???? Thanks for wasting my time to see ignorance.

Very cool …. I want those kitchen folding knives.
The utility blade is cool too but I’d worry about losing the little screw that holds them in.

I love folding utility knives
What drivers are you using?
These look slick and user friendly.
Good Skrew drivers. www.getgoodskrew.com

What are the drivers you use in this video?
Hope 9TIEDC doesn’t jack up the price on Amazon after this video.
I bought the olight version it was a waste of money, it's to short so that it's clumsy to use and I was cutting my hand every time I closed it.
I have the olight version and love mine... Been EDCing it at work.

😂
Sounds like you don't know how to use a knife. Be careful
Can you compare it to the oknife version
cool crossbar lock setup
I would like a good quality on of these, but with finger choils, and one version that is a slip joint!
So handy!
Can’t really find any though.

The Oknife encloses the back of the blade but it almost the same design ,,But this comes in titanium .....
Wowzersssss like this better than the CIVIVI version!
Cut and scrape your hand when you go to pull it out of your pocket..... bad design....lot of exposed blade back edge.... its sharp and it HURTS 😢
Don't know who these are for, but they make me nervous. I'll stick with my Milwaukee Fastback from Home Depot.
...and lose the screw that holds the blade. The $10 button lock Kobalt is fine for me
It's peened on the other side. Won't fall out, at least on the olight version.
@rileyneufeld7001 oh so you don't have to take it all the way out
Not my jams
