I'm wondering about how green screen could effect the final animation. For example, make a contact move with another actor and do something like a body slam but the other person has a green suit on. You post process the footage to take everything out but the main actor doing the slam. I'm just wondering how accurate would the mocap be for the weight shift and all of that?
mine doesn't work on calibrate , it simply does not recognizes the checker box pattern , I've been stuck with this for days and i cant figure out why wouldn't it read the checker box.
Rokoko... Super super Love you.. just wondering When Rokoko will develop Multiple Camera (at least dual camera) Mocap.. and boom... You guys really did it.. super happy with it..❤❤
Tried it with 2 1080p IPhone Cameras and my first impression is the calibration is repetitive and not accurate but sometimes and i mean it doesn't recognize the print out checker board for minutes or the floor paper wont ever detect and sometimes it will i have 2 white LED lights so my scene is well lit and i was only able to make 1 clip in about 6 hours of trying to calibrate as instructed if the calibration was actually straight forward i would pay the $20 a month happily and it would also be better if there was more than a 2 camera max something to consider.
Hey! We are so sorry to hear about your experience with Rokoko Vision so far. It is strange you've had this much difficulty with the calibration process, as it is normally a smooth and easy step for setting up your dual-camera system. Please reach out to our Support Team at support@rokoko.com, and they will help you find a solution so you can get the most out of your time creating mocap.
You cannot stream Rokoko Vision into Unreal Engine in real-time. That's where our hardware, the Smartsuit Pro II, Smartgloves, and Face Capture would be a perfect fit. And with the Coil Pro, global positioning is unlocked to minimize drift, perfect for real-time use.
I would love to see your specific video tutorial on the whole custom process: Create custom UE-metahuman avatar -> connect and process it to UE or rokoko headrig/studio (facial+body motion capture) -> (use single&dual camera rokoko vision) -> and make actual dance performance in real case/video..I want to learn the most simple and effective way for a custom avatar perfomance dance project

Thank you for doing such wonderful things ! Question -> This Rokoko Vision/Plus Subscription also has a 10 minutes limit on Animation ? Or is it unlimited ?
Hey! We have a per-scene limit of 10 minutes for stability reasons, but there is no limit in how many scenes a user can create! It is something we do in all of our plans from free to pro 😊
You can upload recorded clips from your camera for the single-cam solution. Just select a supported video file format on your hard drive and wait for it to upload.
would be nice if u could upload 2 videos. any plans for that? ( they must be syncronized) so the program accepts it as a dual camera footage. I guess when it comes to calibration... it wont be that easy to make that. unless u do calibrate inside the video and expect it to be ok. This was a great move rokoko. AWESOME. hope u add the upload 2 videos option.
At the moment, we are only focusing on uploading one video at a time just make sure that everything runs smoothly for you all, but stay tuned as you never what could happen in the future👀 We are glad you like Vision so far🔥
This is great, any chance you guys are working on blending Rokoko Vision with the SmartSuit and smart gloves for even cleaner mocap results than either two alone ?
At the moment, that's not the plan. Our hardware will remain the best choice if you're looking for full performance capture in real time, and we're continuing to invest in improving that solution (such as with the addition of the Coil Pro). Rokoko Vision offers a fantastic option for quick and easy high quality body motion capture.
@@RokokoMotion What about when it doesn't recognize the checkered box during calibration? I've been standing and trying this for about an hour XD Is it generally supposed to take this long?
Hey! We recommend 60 fps and full HD (1920x1080p) or higher for optimal results, check out the guide if you would like to know more :) - docs.rokoko.com/rkk-vision-documentation/guides/supported-cameras.
@@RokokoMotion yeah thank you but what I meant is, do both cameras have to have same resolution/frame rate please? I have a Sony FX 3 which is a professional camera and a webcam so do the settings have to match in an ideal world? So if my webcam is only 1080p and 30fps do I set my camera to the same or can I have my camera recording at 4K 60fps please?
@@RokokoMotion Phooey, looks like I will have to fight myself two seconds in the future. @@RokokoMotion "Continuously..." It's been almost 8 months since Rokoko Vision launched and from looking at your roadmap there hasn't been a single update to it. I would be more than glad to play $20 a month for Rokoko vision if I can be assured that the AI tracking will be frequently updated and improved on. However, ever since the release of the Coil Pro, it's like you guys have neglected both the Rokoko Smartsuit and Rokoko vision, seeming to only focus on bringing updates to the coil pro.
At the moment, that's not possible inside of Rokoko Studio. You can however capture that data separately and then stitch it together in another 3d tool or game engine.

If I am shooting on location, I may not have access to internet. Is there a way to record the two videos locally and then upload after the shoot?
