    You must always treat the rubber seals with a little silicon oil

      Thank you for the comment, I have indeed done this now & removed a sharp tool mark from the fill probe hole.
      Have since had other issues with this rifle.
      A month later whilst at the rifle range I'd cleaned the rifle with a pull through prior to shooting to notice that the air tank had lost half its pressure 🙄.
      Ended up returning rifle to manufacturer for repairs under warranty, have received rifle back yet still has a very slow leak somewhere and if I don't use it for a week I have to put 50 pumps back into it to return to full capacity.
      I've resolved that this is only an entry level PCP rifle, I'm still a member of the rifle range as a probationary member & once completed & full member I have then the opportunity to apply for a firearms license.
      At that point I will spend more money & purchased a bullpup from a completely different price range.
      👍

      @@mattsmedley.onehandedgamin9029 That sucks with your leaking problem, I have the same gun and I can leave it indefinitely (only left it for a month) at 200bar and it doesn't leak. The o-rings get cut off if your not straight in alignment while putting in the fill probe to the gun, either that or deburr the sharp end off the gun as the manufacturer should have cut out a slight chamfer anyways.

      @@MattP-oz6ps at the moment all is well.
      I've found a local gunsmiths and it has been away for a service, only cost £75, yet now holds air correctly.
      I did clean the fill probe hole myself and removed a bit of sharp metal fill probe now no longer gets damaged o-rings.
      Currently going through the process of applying for FAC as I'm now a member of a small bore rifle club & enjoying the .22 rim-fire.
      Still gonna keep the air rifle as can't fault it's accuracy for the price 👍

    What is the pump called mate. And does it come with a moisturiser trap

    • @mattsmedley.onehandedgamin9029
      @mattsmedley.onehandedgamin9029  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Only markings on the pump is the brand name "RWS" .
      No, no moisture trap.
      Still here the air rifle yet don't use it much as enjoying rim-fire at a rifle range.

    Also had the same problem with mine. I sold the gun and got AA s410.

    Why did u take the cap off to fill the gun

    • @mattsmedley.onehandedgamin9029
      @mattsmedley.onehandedgamin9029  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Only just noticed this.
      At that point I was unsure if the hole in the cap, or the hole in the actual fill probe was catching the probe rings and cutting them.
      Removed cap to see if still catching on something without it being there.

    The problem is solved quite simply: Under pressure, the o ring stretches. When removed, the now larger ring on the tank bore is sheared off. Wait until the ring goes back to normal size and it will remain without defects. I wish I could help

      I've since gently removed a Sharp edge from inside the fill probe area with drill bit & a fine file.
      Seems to be alright now 🤞

    I cant even get the probe to line up with the tiny hole inside. The probe that came with my np03 has a hole either side of it, everytime i insert it into the fill hole it jist spins around and wont pump any air into the tank

      Use a bit of lube, not that isn't a euphemism, you'll notice that I've removed the end ring to get a better seal rather then passing the fill probe through two rings.

    • @Kurgan28
      @Kurgan28 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks! I tried the lube, still no joy. Air is escaping from the filler probe with every stroke. I've swapped the o rings with the spares that came with it. It doesn't seem to be a snug fit like your probe, mine needs minimal effort to be pushed in and pulled out, possible the o rings are too small perhaps

      @@Kurgan28 I've had issues with the fill probe tube cutting/damaging the rings when pushing in or pulling out.
      I had to gently remove a sharp bit of metal form inside the tube with a tiny file.
      These rifles are pretty accurate yet are let down by shoddy workmanship in other areas.

    Never had any problems really. I use the Hatsan one piece 2 male end for my Krals. And you have to be careful with psi readings on any pcp made air rifle even high end 3000 dollar units! Rule of thumb

    None of the cheaper made guages read the same as the other , get a wika or huma gauge, even the good ones are 5bar out , or even better a digital gauge is so say the best , I’ve had same problem on other rifles but it’s due to crap gauges mate

    Just replace the Orings on the probe.

      I did and it kept chewing them up
      I've had to file the inside of the filling port down slightly to remove a sharp burr of metal.
      Had more than a few issues with this rifle, been away recently to a gunsmiths for a service and "touch wood" it's behaving itself at the moment 👍
