- Hello Everyone and Welcome to The Creative Cove.
My name is Michele and thank you for joining me.
Today’s video is just playing with tissue paper to create some interesting layering effects. I really enjoy experimenting and in this care playing with what I had left in my desk.
Hope you enjoy this one and have fun with what’s on your desk!
Cheers,
Michele

I love that you’re not afraid to try anything and it always seems to come out so beautiful!
I never thought of taking the stamp off of the wood block! Fantastic! ❤️
THAT is the essence of “creative.” Awesome. Thank you.
I love the freedom in this process! Nothing can go wrong! It's all usable art! And it's all beautiful!
Thank you Michele, it's so fun to watch you create!
I love all your techniques. I’m just in awe of them. Very clever.
Every time I watch you, you make everything you do seem so easy and flowy and possible! You inspire me!
Aww that makes me so happy. Thank you 😊
You are so talented Michele! Thanks for sharing another great technique - what a great idea to tear tissue paper off an old book!
You are crazy creative!!! I dearly LOVE how you came back and added bits of torn page as visual layered interest. Your voice is soooooo perfect for instruction. Love ya!!!!! Trying it today.
Isn’t that the truth! I always learn from her!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Wow! Amazing technique! Thank you for giving us more ideas on how to use our old book pages using up our left overs.
I love watching you create! Love it! So beautiful and natural! So liberating to just try something and see what happens! Thank you, Michele!!
I love watching you create. You are so inspirational.
New/ish to your channel and love what you have done here and the music. Can’t wait to catch up on some past videos. 😎🥰
Hi Michele😊 who new you could tear glued tissue paper! So much fun watching you being creative, always inspiring and encouraging. Thanks heaps. Sending best wishes 🌿
Thank you so much 😊
So creative and such a beautiful result !
This is crafting with a romantic touch which I love so much❤
Thank you so much Michelle I really really enjoyed watching you create all those pieces of ephemera and I really ❤❤love how they turned out. And not wasting any of the bits left over is great. I’m definitely going to try this out soon. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
I love this idea and the small envelope is my favorite
Fabulous! Absolutely FABULOUS!
Michele, thank you for another beautiful and creative tutorial! I just love this idea. Thank you for sharing.
Ingenious and utterly fabulous, thank you! 🏆🥇🥰🏴
I use this technique in my art journals 😊 the possibilities are endless with tissue papers!
Love these! Experimenting is the best way! Thank you so much for sharing, take care x
What a fabulous idea! I’m off right now to try this! Thank you for the inspiration, as always!
Impressive results. Love this it is a gotta try for sure! Glad you are so brave; glad you are so creative! TFS. 🙏🥰
I love it, I'm going to try adding this technique into my mixed media paintings!
Great video and technique!
You are really helping me to let go of “perfection”. Well in theory you are since I haven’t actually tried to do anything creative recently 😅 BUT I enjoy watching you work and how relaxed you are about just experimenting and going with the flow.
Re; comments on your music, I don’t understand why anyone would have an issue with it. You have a beautiful soft relaxing voice and your music choices don’t compete with you in any way.
On the other hand I have watched some channels where the music is really jarring! In those cases if I am interested in what they are doing I mute the sound and turn on the captions. No need to post comments!
What a fun play and beautiful outcome! TYFS
Love your ideas 🥰 thanks for sharing...Iris😘
Honestly what you just did on 12 minutes of video was awesome! Every little last tornxtrip with pretty much one stamp, an old book and some plain tissue paper that you can find in a shoe box or dollar tree. So inspiring and beautiful! Thank you❤🌿
Love the technique and the results are gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing!
I have made a date with myself to try this out tomorrow 🎉
Such an easy way to make great things! Thanks for sharing your idea.
I like very much your technique « glue and tear » I have used it several times since you showed it to us few months ago. Very interesting to try it with tissue paper. Merci😊
Hi Michele, great video. love the endresult👍❤️💐
Love the translucency of these. I've never tried this techmique with tissue paper. I'm definitely going to give it a go
Interesting experiment! I love the variety in the images and the finished pieces. Very creative. xoxo
I love your fun creative ideas❤
Clever idea🎉🎉🎉👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Very cool Michelle. Thanks for the ideas. Blessings from Alberta. ❤
Just found your channel, and loving it! YES to the calming music.
It looks like your impatience is what actually works best lol. Hitting the sweet spot between just dry enough so most of it comes off with the paper & not too dry so the tissue paper can come off. I love the result, especially with the bit of paint & stamping. Although it never ceases to strike me that 100-200 years ago people would have loved bright white paper, while we work so hard to make ours look aged & creamy/beige 🤷♀️ and this distressed era is lasting a super long time in terms of craft trends. I wonder what comes next? 🤔😁
I ordered that book, Seven Men, on eBay and the pages are aged to perfection!!!! Thank you Michele for showing this technique with this book (I paid more than 50 cents lol)
WOW!!! That is absolutely awesome!!! The results are superb. So glad I signed up for your videos awhile ago and most of all thanks for sharing your wonderfulness!
wow, I LOVE what you did here. Can't wait to try it. Love that little tag. thanks so much!!

❤awesome!! Thank you for sharing! I just made a video, and said, not sure what I'm going to do with all this tissue paper. Had no idea you could pull it up. So cool,, ty 😊
Love these!❤❤
Lovely results.
Wow it is beautiful love the idea❤
I'm definitely going to try this!
Tissue paper is great for stamping directly on!
Nice going - love it - tfs 👵🏻🤗👍
Wonderful idea😊
I’ve just been experimenting with sone stencils paint etc and discarded it as rubbish 🙄 but my goodness me this just shows that experimenting is the name of the game ! 🙏🏼
Really nice results!
Absolutely love this idea and will be trying it today at some point I’ll let you know how it goes!!!
These are so cool
If you put the block with stamp on it in the microwave for 30-45 secs, it will peel off easily, I do it all the time...thanks for inspiring me tonight
Absolutely loved the first one where you peeled the paper off the stamp when it was wet and then stamped with the honeycomb, delicious x
Very cool
I am so sorry you felt attacked over the new deck. BUT I LOVE stories about unexpected, beautiful acts of kindness and love that happen in people's lives. So, thank you for sharing both your tag ideas and the sweet story.
Thank you so much 😊
Another great experiment, i forget about using tissue paper which I save because it comes in gift bags and it tears so easily that you oftentimes can't reuse it when you reuse the gift bag. LIKE NAPKIN ART which I sometimes use. I'm gonna try the stamp and glue now.
thanks for sharing
So much fun! Thank you for the inspiration!!
Love this idea ! what kind of tissue paper did you use? Do you have a link for the tissue paper ? Thank you for the inspiration !
