2001 HONDA CR250 Dirt Bike Market Place Find - NEW PROJECT?

New project bike… we found this 2001 CR250R on market place.
We all know how awesome the 2001 CR 250 powerplant is…
so We plan to make a “bolt in kit” to run this in the 2022 CRF450R chassis… similar to our 500 kit

The straight frame of the 01cr250r you scooped actually doesn’t look bad black. Stock they kinda look like a block of dogshit. The curved 02-07 frames are so much nicer tho and give the bikes a modern look.

I bought an 01 brand new. I think this is the best CR 250 engine, but the 06/07 had far better chassis and suspension, better overall machine.

why not use a crf250 chassis as it would be a lot less stiff than a 450 chassis

@@angelteamnolimit624 looollll funny guy I realize cr’s are expensive but I wouldn’t pay that much for it was nothing about the bike. Maybe you don’t realize by my pfp that I absolutely love Hondas but still wouldn’t pay that much for a bike that old. Yes I get they are hard to find which is why the price is the way it is but yeah just my opinion really. In conclusion I just buy a fucking basket cases because fuck paying 5 grand for a bike somebody else built ( I live in Canada Cr’s are 5+ grand here)
