You’re looking lovely in your sundress and so glad you had a lovely day to wear it but don’t forget your SPF50. You did better than down here in Kent - it was raining and cloudy for much of the day on Saturday. I did a dishcloth in that same colour and love it. Will check out some free patterns too I think. I love making things in cotton yarn. I can’t really use anything else for scarves and shawls as I end up itching all the time with wool and acrylic around the neck. I love Schjeppes (probably spelt wrong!) Whirl yarn for crochet shawls. The shawl I made from it is used all the time as it doesn’t irritate. Looking forward to seeing your fabric shop and beach trip. I would have loved to have joined you. Why haven’t they invented the “Star Trek” way of travel yet?? “Beam me up Scottie”. (Nickname of a crew member and in no way meant to be derogatory). You’re too young to remember……. X

Your lunch looks delicious. Gave me an idea for my dinner tonight. Miserable day here in Melbourne but is late autumn. Oxalise is a weed here!!! I knitted my dish cloths which was very easy too. Great blog as usual. Have a great week ❤️❤️
Yes we have oxalis as a weed too but the deep purple one is so pretty and I love how the leaves close up at night.
Just wondering if you would tell us Tilly’s story. Is she your first cat? How old is she, does she wander off into your back forest? She is so cute. The dishcloths are the Roll Royce of cleaning cloths.😊

I’m going to make some dishcloths as I have a lot of oddments of cotton yarn and I’ve looked up the website you mentioned. I wasn’t happy this morning when I noticed slugs have eaten up all the Zinnia seedlings I had planted. I’m going to have to protect the Cosmos ones that are coming up nicely now 😊
Zinnia is one thing I cannot grow! Well, I can grow the seeds but the snails get them every single time I’ve tried!! And that’s before they’ve even left the greenhouse 😖

Um are you suggesting they’re likely to get eaten??! 😱😭 I’m hoping the ones in the hanging baskets will be safe 🤞🏼. I’ve also been cutting up big 2 litre bottles and making a kind of tube to slot over some plants. Will see if that helps.
