Have been admiring your pretty green plant mister for a while now and managed to find a similar one in Morrisons of all places when doing my big shop yesterday. It was a good day as they also had the first of the Seven Sister series. Whoop Whoop 😊
Weekend plans….taking my hub on a date tomorrow, catching the ferry and heading down the Nova Scotia Coast, to get him some work boots, then to a wee restaurant for lunch. The drive is Oceanfront and so pretty. Sunday, we are around the house….enjoying. 🌺🇨🇦
I can remember as a child in the 50’s we were all lined to see the dentist. I’m sure the fillings I had were not necessary. They were taking advantage of NHS.
I liked the top on you. The dress looked nice, too bad you weren’t comfortable with it. Glad you have a nice weekend with the boyfriend planned. It’s a holiday weekend here in the US but we don’t have plans to be out since storms are predicted. There will be crocheting, #SummerSockCamp2024 knitting and reading!!!
Wow I haven’t seen a library book with a date stamp in years. I loved the top and dress you tried on - both looked amazing on you. I’ve just finished Lessons in Chemistry and now reading Agatha Christie Body in the Library. It’s Saturday here in Australia so will watch my daughter play soccer and then knitting group this arvo. Really loving this series of vlogs and thank you so much for all your hard work. The blue dress looked lovely on you. You should have got it. I was supposed to get into reading this year again but haven’t read a thing apart from craft books. Am loving my CK Stitch book at the moment and making lots from it. Very late to the party but I don’t care. Love your new fabrics. Helen from Mousiemakes would love that music fabric. By the way - Apricot clothing is now on QVCUK and you can try it for 60 days and you can send it back if you don’t like. You can also pay three instalments on everything with no interest. I haven’t bought any clothing from there for ages as don’t need so much now as not working. We are just going for some short walks and pottering around the house. I’m doing my CK cross stitch heart too and need to start some crochet projects. X.
I have my monthly Lacemaking Group day tomorrow and we have a Tatting workshop which I haven’t yet mastered but going to have another try. It’s always a lovely day with members doing an assortment of crafts and homemade cake in the afternoon. 😊
This weekend we're celebrating my daughter's 40th birthday and my son's 37th birthday! 🎉 His is 1 day after hers. I plan on getting some knitting done too.
It’s going to be hot in Texas, so have to be up early to walk/run and beat the heat. Friday night pizza tonight which our daughter always comes to make. Pool time and knitting time, anything to keep cool. Have a great weekend!

I'm planning on catching up with a few chores in the house then sitting down with my knitting. I've nearly finished the second front of the cardigan I'm knitting so am hoping to finish it and start on the sleeves. Have you finished the cardigan you were making; have I missed it? I have a note book I write down lists of everything that’s clogging up my brain from vacuuming to jobs out and it’s much easier to cope. I have a meet the breed day for our dog rescue this weekend which I’m looking forward to but panicking I don’t quite have anything on the needles/hook to do in the evening! Have to dig out some sock yarn I guess 😁
You can tell when I’m *really* overwhelmed - it’s the only time I write lists! Feeling much better yesterday is over. Think it was just the dentist stress that made me feel a bit too much.

There are only so many hobbies we can do at one time so something always has to take a backseat 🤷🏼♀️

Better than the tooth pain and emergency appointments. I use to go with my son and hold his hand and he was in his 30’s so I sympathise. X
