Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. This helped me learn so many things that I never even knew I needed. Wow. 10/10 seriously.
It's amazing, I love how you categorized everything. You are by far my favorite Warframe content creator since a while, and each new subject you tuch turns into gold. You deserve so much more views.
Some extra for the galv mods: Galv Scope works the same as the other ones, meaning Verglas can go over 50%cc for tenacious, however they need to be targeting an enemy for it to proc, since it seems like whenever sentinels are in ”combat mode” it counts as aiming for proccing scope effects.
Honestly forgot about that. Unrelated, I remember messing with +/- zoom stuff back in the past to mess with engagement distances, but seemed like it no longer worked the way I thought.
Been using Diriga for the arc coil priming on my Zephyr, going heat and corrosive. Because the coil casts so often, Mystic Bond is available every 5-7 seconds, which works nicely since It means I always get to cast Turbulence or Tornados for free. Interestingly, Arc Coil procs Archon Stretch's energy regen and with enough enemy density can keep it maxed out forever. Allowing for energy regen without needing electric damage in the frame kit. I haven't tested it yet, but I imagine Archon Vitality and Archon Continuity would also work for more priming shenanigans.
Sounds like I better take care of my Eidolon hunting before they patch that. It'll make the grind a little more tolerable 😅 EDIT: Hotfix 34.0.4: Fixed the Regen Mod drastically increasing the rate of fire of Helios’ Deconstructor (RIP to meta Helios lol)

Hounds are really good if they stick with you but since they mostly wont nautilus or diriga is a better option tbh also if you make a hound primer build with reflex denial it becomes really and by really i really mean really annoying since it also absorbs your shots
‘Video idea you might like’ with the companion rework there’s a way to make any warframe a decent tank, you just gotta have a companion that procs synth deconstruct reliably, arcanes blessing and guardian, adaptation, equilibrium and health conversion. It’s really good if you plan on doing around 1h survivals in sp
Been messing around with Vasca Kavat. They insta res you when they can. If they are down you combine that with last gasp from Unairu instead of killing enemies you can simply rez your companion which would instantly pick you up. Particularly useful for long survivals where Operator damage falls off. Combine with Vazarin for insta res.
When your pet sets stuff on fire it triggers Cascadia Flare (So stuff like Synergized Prospectus) on Hound with Manifold Bond makes Cascadia Flare stacks ramp up super fast
Any plans to cover moas/thoughts on potential moa builds? I would imagine they will be better than most non-sentinel companions due to using sentinel weapons instead of the brain-dead companion melee AI, but I haven't yet come up with any specific ideas for using a moa over a sentinel. I really would like to finally have a reason to use them, they're my favorite of the companions from a non-gameplay perspective. Regardless, I'm loving this update for so many reasons so far, and the companion rework is probably the biggest reason; can't wait for the second part of the rework focused on companion abilities :)
I've tested all the MOAs against all the hounds, all their precept setups and weapons, and the hounds still blow MOAs out of the water. Part of this is because of the AI MOAs use, which leads to them standing around doing nothing a fair bit of the time, or emoting if you have an emotion chip installed (which, if removed, helps them pay attention to combat a bit more.) I think they would improve with better AI, but as it is, hounds are far more active and, honestly, far stronger and more offensively versatile. MOAs have the benefit of a number of mods to help your frame out, such as the one that extends your aim glide duration, so they have a bit of extra utility, but for sheer combat power, the hounds remain the strongest pets in the game. As an example, using Synergized Prospectus on a hound last night in the Steel Path, along with the ability cooldown reduction bond mod (the name of which escapes me, as I'm away from my PC), and it was clearing entire waves on his own with rapid fire lightening balls, which I kid you not, were being fired in one second intervals. I only had to jump in to help when an acolyte would spawn.
Guess I finally need to get around to grinding out all the hounds then, lol. I do really hope DE does something about the companion/specter AI, it's really become apparent with this update that it can't stay the way it currently is long term @@NoahLoydOG
Helios shoot slower without Quick Return because is has to wait those 3 glaives to come back before it can fire again. like throwing weapons 5 years ago. DE patched throwing weapons to instantly comeback when you hold your attack, however, Helios can't do hold melee attack so it has to wait the glaives bouncing around and come back before it can shoot another set. And the Regen bug just make it to the next level
I just want DE to fix Dethcube muzzle flash effect. It's been broken since Atlas Prime update. All I have now are memories and a few videos with my favorite sentinel in its pew-pew glory 🥺
GazTV has a video on the helios prime and he described what was happening very differently than you did. Because I don't remember him mentioning attack speed at all. The way I understood it was, it's almost like it's doing three times the damage, as in each of those three revives are three helios's being present at the same time. I definitely could be wrong, but I don't remember him mentioning attack speed at all
Azvasions, the Diriga sentinel with arc coil works with Synth Deconstruct and archon stretch , while using any frame that turns invisible (Loki, ash) giving passive energy and lots of health of for equilibrium, you should show case this
So far for me with the update: I like robotics far more than beast, with hounds, moa, and naut being my top 3 pets so far. Beast just sadly have mod clutter due to no weapon to free up slots. Can't prime as well. Their attack pattern is awful for stripping with Vicious Bond(which works on priority targets like Kavat sharpened claw). Moa being the absolute player buffer, Hound highest in general damage, Nautilus gather being extremely useful. I pref vulklok for tenacious but helstrum I love otherwise cause more AoE priming and assist than gas vulklok. Panzer is still the best beast pet to me. I just pref moa over panzer for what I rate panzer over beast for. In general: Synth Deconstruct- Mandatory if using Equilibrium Reinforced Bond- Mandatory if either 350 base shields with shield mod or maining a 760 base shield WF with link shields Tenacious bond- Mandatory if using Vulklok or kavats with bite Loot Gathering- Obviously Mandatory. Momentous Bond- Is extremely close to being just mandatory for me since I use it on all my builds. Add another primer element, while having high revival rate the higher you go. Pack Leader - Mandatory. Manifold Bond- Mandatory with good abilities Vicious Bond- Mandatory for moa/helios vs armored factions, I also like it with hounds compared to other beast attack patterns Guardian and Shield Charger- While not mandatory they are insane with manifold bond. Pref shield charge more for higher SG time Tandem Bond - Mandatory for Khora Moas I think are best with minimally hard engage but have been testing whiplash mine instead of nautilus for a bit. Hounds I think are best with minimally synergized prospectus and null audit. Repo audit and Evasive Denial are good but no slots for them and null audit+rework eximus is saucy. Akaten being hound best weapon. I've also been trying to fix up a panzer quick recovery build to see if it could work for inaros with dorrclave (First 100% slash melee) but I also don't really want to try to go for hours with inaros XD Edit: I also hope if they fix strain set's bug it's fixed in a way so its set effect is actually useful for crit dmg/pet dmg.
Fixed the Regen Mod drastically increasing the rate of fire of Helios’ Deconstructor. Fixed Mystic Bond’s chance at a free Warframe ability cast triggering every 5 seconds instead of the intended “after Companion uses abilities with cooldowns 5 times” when equipped with the Strain Mod on a Helminth Charger.
I use Duplex Bond on Diriga. So the Clones will attack with the my Verglas equipped, modded like your weapon with the Vigilante Mods. With Verglas it has alot if Power.
Is Shield Recharger actually desirable if you're on a Catalyzing Shields shiledgate build? Increasing my shields and decreasing my shields at the same time seems counterproductive...
The Blast Shield precept for Moas can just straight up give 3000 overshields, activating Reinforced Bond. (Moas can also get over 1200 shield base to straight up have it perma-activated and have the maximum 2.5 seconds of shield gate time... which should give enough time to re-activate Blast Shield and do it all over again. Not that pet immortality is such a big deal anymore.) (Edit: Do you double up on the Reinforced Bond bonus if you have >1200 shields AND >1200 overshields? The buff shows up twice in your buff bar, anyway. This is an easy way to trigger that if so. (Edit2: It shows up twice SOMETIMES.)) I wonder if the Antigrav Grenade and Whiplash Mine Moa precepts are going to be relevant here, too. Seems like they might be.
2:45 you forgot to mention and explain YOUR GUN AND ALSO YOUR COMPANION GUN needs galvanized mods equipped to trigger galvanized buffs. You cant just have them on companion for the buff.
Catabolyst Main is going to enjoy.. Manifold(?) due to me having over 170% SC. Having Rivens is cool, so I may look into a Helstrum riven w/ Magnetic. ANYWAY. I liked the bit “Hound AI is stoopid.” They really should have then just… fancy sentinels. Modular Sentinels would be cool. I’ve been a supporter of your content for a bit, and I’ll still look forward to your videos, Azn.
Can't wait for Part 2 se we can see which pet is the best Tandem Builder for combo hungry builds/frames like Baruuk. I've been using a Panzer with Tandem on him, with a Gladiator Stick as a melee, and being able to easily build up combo for red crits on his Serene Storm is amazing
I tried it on a panzer but they like to spam viral quills instead of melee, so for a Tandem build I've had much better luck with an Adarza. All it does is melee, and Swipe + Naramon's Opening Slam makes that passive combo gain surprisingly quick.
A hounds ai is stupid yes but he can still prime with his ranged electric ball that uses all elements on the weapon, this dude can kill quite a bit also on his own, love him. Run around with 4 of him and collect massive amounts of energy, get firerate, eximus aura, 5/6 status effects....
Does M Prime inherit any of these effects? For example, vicious bond spreads armor strip when an enemy is damage by an ability. If that ability kills the enemy can the M Prime explosion propogate armor strip in a chain reaction?
what would you say is a good companion for melee gauss, I tried the nautilus for grouping but since the epitaph procs cold it makes the grouping worthless, gonna try the status version and forgo my epitaph and see if that works any better
Ah, yes. I knew you would deliver and look forward to more. I am glad I stacked forma before the Dagath patch. It is time to dust off my robots and modify for DPS shenanigans.
Since they rework companions I need to know, does internal bleeding or hemorrhage work on the melee moas kicks since there affected by the weapons mods.
Any suggestions for construction of moas and hounds? I know you said it will work with any, but I'm wondering if any particular parts and types give notable benefits.
In the future video i want to see Sunika vs Sahasa, cuz from what i understand both have a finisher ability, but Sunika can also hold a VIP (many say it's just the capture target), while the Sahasa can dig up stuff you need.
For the galvanized mods, does my rifle have to be using galvanized aptitude as well to stack it for verglas? If I’m using aeration instead will it still stack for sentinel?
Mystic bond mod on diriga is crazy now, i though it was thanks to arc coil and mainfold bond combo, but now i know it a bug :(. Well i hope that after fixes mystic bond keep at least 50% of its power.
I'm confused about your wyrm build. Why do you use Manifold, Tenacious, and Momentum Bond, but you don't have Assualt mode. How does Wyrm attack without that equipped? Or is he not attacking at all? Do all those bonds trigger without him killing or doing damage? Maybe I'm reading them wrong but it seems like they need to trigger via him not the warframe.
@@Aznvasions Gotcha. So he is really there as a utility stat stick? The weapon is only there to reach the critical limit required for Tenacious and Manifold is there for cooldown & not status spread? Thanks for the quick reply btw. Your content is top notch.
can someone explain to me how are you suppose to pick up health orbs generated by synth deconstruct without synth fiber, because I don't see synth fiber on any of the build? thanks!
You no longer need to have synth fiber equipped since the rework for that. You will always be able to pick up health orbs if you have equilibrium, even if you are full hp
@@gibran8959 Vulcax works, but that’s a craftable that you have to go out of your way to make. Granted, you need to craft Nautilus to have Verglas, but I’m pretty sure most are more likely to own Nautilus than Vulcax
@@Aznvasions One last question, is it worth boosting the stats of the companion (HP, shield, armor), or that's still not worth and just with accelerated deflection
I don’t think Astral Bond will get nerf too badly because DE won’t forget their own damage types right? And as you stated it does just as much damage as some of the eidolon speed runners. Maybe this for new players because DE is all about being new player friendly. I’m just hoping because this is a big boon for my operator and umbra build

Not that pet immortality is such a big deal anymore.) (Edit: Do you double up on the Reinforced Bond bonus if you have >1200 shields AND >1200 overshields? The buff shows up twice in your buff bar, anyway. This is an easy way to trigger that if so. (Edit2: It shows up twice SOMETIMES.))
I wonder if the Antigrav Grenade and Whiplash Mine Moa precepts are going to be relevant here, too. Seems like they might be.
You know literal no one has done Kubaros yet. Looking forward to part 2!
As much as I love my panzer named Kovid Kavat, having more options is so refreshing. This update is great!
Need to have Assault Mode on a sentinel to make it use its load out weapon, right?
my warframe is lacking survivability and i want a companion that can fix that wich one would be the best? for survivability even on high levels?
Maybe taxon since its precepts are for shield generation
anyway we can get a build for vascas, my fiancee adores them and I want to try and get a decent build for her
Thanks Azn. Love your content.
2:45 you forgot to mention and explain YOUR GUN AND ALSO YOUR COMPANION GUN needs galvanized mods equipped to trigger galvanized buffs. You cant just have them on companion for the buff.
Do you think they will just wait for the next pet rework to fix the things like regen/helmnith charger interaction or do yo think they will hotfix it.
i really want a chaining beam sentinel weapon with an iante combined element
at 10:18 do i see armor being reduced
If that ability kills the enemy can the M Prime explosion propogate armor strip in a chain reaction?
what would you say is a good companion for melee gauss, I tried the nautilus for grouping but since the epitaph procs cold it makes the grouping worthless, gonna try the status version and forgo my epitaph and see if that works any better
hope they don't destroy heilos, and make this interaction an actual feature. i don't think it too good because it is very clunky to use anyways
That’s facts I tried it it’s not even that useful. They should patch the bug but just make Helios by default hit way faster.
Already patched out.
@@Caidezes its so joever. tried it out. its so bad, holy. DE for fucks sake at least buff the damn weapon.
A reminder that this is only Part 1 of the complete Companion rework.
@@VoidWanderer92 then time to wait half a year for them to MIGHT adjust it yeepee
Ah, yes. I knew you would deliver and look forward to more. I am glad I stacked forma before the Dagath patch. It is time to dust off my robots and modify for DPS shenanigans.
Im currently using aerial bond, isn't more useful for pet recovery since you can use contagion to instakill bunch of enemies?or is there a cons?
Since they rework companions I need to know, does internal bleeding or hemorrhage work on the melee moas kicks since there affected by the weapons mods.
thank you for the breakdown mistah
Excited to see if you can get the kubrows working well. I want to use them for something other then Mecha
Im glad we got here
Companion viability...and fun shenanigans...all while they dont need to be babysat as much...we eating good with this update :)
Any suggestions for construction of moas and hounds?
I know you said it will work with any, but I'm wondering if any particular parts and types give notable benefits.
id say get it to have at least 350 shields so u can use reinforced bond on them
some of them nerfed already? is this before hotfix 34.0.4 or after that?
Before. The only things nerfed that was shown was things in the “BUGS” section. Iirc, astral bond still works
In the future video i want to see Sunika vs Sahasa, cuz from what i understand both have a finisher ability, but Sunika can also hold a VIP (many say it's just the capture target), while the Sahasa can dig up stuff you need.
I remember my Sunika growing to monstrous size and grappling Jackal back when Kubrows were new.
@@eyywannn8601or the juggernaut event with the OG room sized ones Kubrick got huuge
I've always been running with my boi Djinn aka Lil' Gloomy.
Was always underrated.
What about Artax with its innate cold procs? Its pretty nice if you have a good riven for it.
Some awsome stuff man
I don't know my Nautilus rarely does the Cordon ability... is this happening to someone else too?
This was incredible thank you
Is the next part for kavats and kubrows ?
For the galvanized mods, does my rifle have to be using galvanized aptitude as well to stack it for verglas? If I’m using aeration instead will it still stack for sentinel?
Has to also be using galvanized aptitude
Do u think de will patch the big with Helios because it’s useless without it
Yes, because well...it's a pretty significant bug.
They can trigger by the warframe :)
@@Aznvasions Gotcha. So he is really there as a utility stat stick? The weapon is only there to reach the critical limit required for Tenacious and Manifold is there for cooldown & not status spread? Thanks for the quick reply btw. Your content is top notch.
Hi, can i see the Nautilus Pet dps+priming build tho?
Thank you :)
Was helpful info for me to dust off some of these old sentinels
Here's me also salivating at the idea of a finally viable melee moa
very helpful, sadly i sold any weapon with high crit while keeping high status weps, time to remake them! also capacity problem xD
I gotta ask, what was lightning rod doing on that volt build? Aren't you missing shock trooper?
eidolon
@@noahedenborg4221 I thought that's what nullifier was for? What is 60% electric resistance doing you?

I removed shock trooper just to show astral stuff since I couldn’t fit total eclipse anywhere else. I don’t actually hunt with that volt setup.
can someone explain to me how are you suppose to pick up health orbs generated by synth deconstruct without synth fiber, because I don't see synth fiber on any of the build? thanks!
You no longer need to have synth fiber equipped since the rework for that. You will always be able to pick up health orbs if you have equilibrium, even if you are full hp
Question, why Vulklok if Verglas can reach 60% CC with Critical Delay, or is it to avoid the -20% fire rate
Verglas has base 8% CC…
@@Aznvasions sorry i have brain damage, i meant Vulcax
@@gibran8959 Vulcax works, but that’s a craftable that you have to go out of your way to make. Granted, you need to craft Nautilus to have Verglas, but I’m pretty sure most are more likely to own Nautilus than Vulcax
@@Aznvasions One last question, is it worth boosting the stats of the companion (HP, shield, armor), or that's still not worth and just with accelerated deflection
Does chrome vex armor affect companion?
it should
Yes
I don’t think Astral Bond will get nerf too badly because DE won’t forget their own damage types right? And as you stated it does just as much damage as some of the eidolon speed runners. Maybe this for new players because DE is all about being new player friendly. I’m just hoping because this is a big boon for my operator and umbra build
Prepare to be disappointed. 👀

1 week and apparently DE won't nerf Duplex Bond for now
No reason why, it already was nerfed. First version had no limit of companion copies.
Man im currently on wf break but auto group from my sentinel while I go apeshit on my frame loadout sounds so awesome on many frames
If you don't have helstrum for dethcube what other companion weapon would you recommend
Sweeper with Punch through. It will pierce through crowds very easily.
We never call it a bug with DE it’s always a feature 😉
Marvelous video, thanks .
if the eidolon one was supposed to happen in game then xaku's subsume would be godly but since that doesnt break the shield i dont see why bond should be able to
Btw, on release Xaku could damage Eidolon shields, tat was quickly patched
