We walked Snowden in 25 deg sun and at the top was cold, wet and windy! You may need those waterproofs yet! That cliff you walked today is like Snowdens last 2 miles! Good luck.

Leigh - As someone who's walked multiple tracks of Snowdon an umbrella is about as useful as tits on a bull. The wind will just take it, and you'll spend most of your time trying to reverse it after the wind has blown it inside out. Let the waterproofs do their job and you'll appreciate the lighter bag and extra space. Less is more when hiking mountains. Llanberis route is the easiest way up Snowdon, you'll both be reeet, enjoy it lads!

Agree, the brolly will end up in Dublin. Weather here in the Llanberis area not Brill today, can't even see Snowdon.

Your waterproofs will be one of your best investments , they are wind proof and warm , and great for taking to Florida if go on water rides 😃😃

We used to go up Snowden when i was a kid . Think I was about 8 or 9 .Did it a few times . Love it up there. Although took hubby couple years ago but got stopped 3/4 up weather turned on us .
The first time my hubby tried Snowdon he had to go back as weather terrible but the next time weather perfect - it’s so changeable
Let’s just say that I’ve set out three times to go up Snowdon - only been up and down in full once due to adverse weather conditions. Good luck guys, you will be great 😃

Have you looked at getting some isotonic gels that runners use? It replaces sugar, salt etc. Amazon sell them.They would be better for your walk rather than low calorie fibre bars. 😍xxx

Not many TH-camrs I would sit and watch them hang out their smalls on a maiden , you are the exception :-).
Bit of advice for Snowdon, ensure you take at least 2 litres of water/fluids, without the summit cafe to refresh you need a good supply, walking poles are very useful too especially if you suffer with your knees, coming down your legs and feet take a beating, having done Snowdon many times I cannot wait to see you guys do it! Oh and be sure to cut your toe nails short! Wishing you both all the best xx

Please don't under estimate how Snowdon is going to be, I see the air ambulance right over my house a lot, sometimes daily coming from there to the hospital in Bangor. Please take care and stay safe. Good luck to you all doing it xx

It shows how different where are you guys live and where I live are that you were wearing jackets outside a little over a week ago, and here it is 87°F (30.6°C). It’s interesting to know that the trackable has ended up in Germany, of all places. I’m definitely curious to know where it goes next.

I don't have much nice to say about our Government, except they handled covid here really well. Right of the bat we had to wear masks inside and outside, shopping days based on last names, and when we were allowed to go to restaurants or shops social distancing was strictly enforced. If not your business got fined and shut down. So glad Elaine is ok.
