The only thing more surprising than you still working on curtains is that so many of us are still fascinated by them 😊. Love the way they looked.

Thanks for another vlog. Dreading seeing a thumbnail...Nick ends up in A&E after he has drilled into his finger or chopped his leg off with the saw 😂. Everything looking fab. X x

I’ve just come back from Fuerteventura and was surprised how nice the weather was, I’d recommend for the winter/ spring sunshine!

Love, love, love the blinds, and compliment the rest of the van very well. Weather was crap the day we met up, we mentioned emigrating too when we got back 😂 love to you both as always ❤️

I don’t think the curtains are that bad like the comments are saying! They look nice cosy and will stop the insects flying in! And you chose the right colour

Nick, you are never beaten. You will tackle any task, and always with a brilliant outcome, and of course, it could not be achieved without the assistance of Leigh. Re floaty curtains. To eliminate this, you can put weights into the hems of the curtains. Van is looking 👌 fabulous x
The blinds look great. Just don’t understand the need for the curtain.
I agree the blinds looked better with curtain, but the doors might be drafty hence why need curatins in front

Just a thought, you could put weighted magnets in the bottom corners of the curtains where they meet to keep them together, we have that in our tent and it’s amazing!! x

I’d still put the trims so from the outside you can’t see any light it would make van more stealth and no one would know you were inside it might be safer.

Hi guys I'm an ex scare actor I was working screamland in Margate Kent for about 3 years before the pandemic the last one I done was themed around the hammer house of horror you guys would of loved it lol.
Nix the curtains guys! It looks soooo much better with the blinds. Your lodge has just blinds and no curtains. Curtains make the tiny van looked cluttered.

I lived in New Zealand as a child and they had buns called sally lunn’s they were round small buns with fruit in and pink icing on top with coconut we would split them and put butter on them my husbands grandmother was from Lancashire and she used to make Sally Lunn buns without fruit but with icing on top very light and buttery very much like the finger buns that a well known high street shop sell leave the curtains just have the blinds it’s a cleaner look

U can buy weights for curtains and they will then hang properly. Also u can get pinch pleat pins for the heading tape which will replace your safety pins! But those blinds look so much better, well done. I assume there was a reason u didn’t get the matching material for the curtain
Hey boys, just thought.. Don't forget condensation on the windows. You know how the insides can get pretty wet, that will stain your blinds if they're pressed up against your windows on the doors. Watch you every day for years. Hugs x
they are plastic backed so shouldn't be a problem plus there is a gap behind
Me again!! It might help to spray starch the blinds??

Nick as a nurse you are making me very nervous cutting the wood with the saw using your leg to hold it. Please be careful. I would hate to me for you to slip and cut into your leg x
Yes you can see light on outside but its only the edges, you cant see inside of van or who in van, i have a daughter who too much of a prefectionist 🙈🙈 its fine lads 🙄 the creases will fall out on the long curtain eventually 🙄🙄 the pleates is fine, i like a full pleat

To keep the curtains down put a line of curtain weights at the bottom it will keep them hanging properly x

Aren't the strings just tucked in at the edges. A gentle tug should pull the ends of the string out from behind the heading tape
not on IKEA heading tape it's not there

The blinds are great, don't like the curtains, they are redundant and not necessary. The blinds are clean lines and gives you all the privacy, the curtains just look frumpy.

The blinds on the back doors look great do you need curtains
it's just so in the sunshine we can close the curtain and keep light and privacy and to make not feel cosy on a night
The blinds look nice and neat curtains too much. Takes away from your craftsmanship.
