It makes so much more sense to have closed off the extra door. Don't need a door from a powder room to the LR. It's a cute little room, nice personal touches and great ideas. Nicely done!
Andrew I applaud your creativity and willingness to take risks . I think it’s so wonderful you own your own home and find ways to upgrade without breaking the bank. You are an inspiration. I hope young people take note. I have always thrifted furniture and children’s clothes and toys when my boys were little. It helped us save so much money.
How have I only just discovered your channel? I'm watching everything from oldest to newest now and I loooove your style! :) Very individualistic, lots of vintage, thrifted, DIY and a bit on the dark and moody side. Plus, Escher!. Wonderful! There are not enough channels like this out there (I also love and watch Lone Fox and xomacenna). Kinda sick of all the greige all newly bought makeovers on dozens of channels. And your personal style is so cool. You are giving me major (cute) Victorian strongman vibes.
I love this so much! It was such a good move to close off the extra door that went to the living room! Bathrooms with two doors give me anxiety, lol-they just don’t make logical pass-throughs.
Great idea if placing that mirror where the door was, love that! And it has a bit of shelf! Absolutely love the light pendant in there, it goes perfectly! You can tell this is a true artist's home, so fun and inspiring to watch...and learn!
DAMN Andrew!😲 Do you even know how good you are?! The room being absolutely stunning is one thing but your ability to see things with potential is unmatched and highly underrated. Btw, I love your parents. So supportive of you🙏
I LOVE your aesthetic and ability to see beyond what some people might consider "rubbish" or "trash". Also, I love your parents! I'm envious of any family that has so many skills and such a generous vibe. Just wonderful. Thanks for sharing
Hi Andrew. I just found your site and have been watching your past videos. I love your style; love the way you mix old, new and vintage. I live in a home from the 1920's and have given me several ideas. Thanks for the inspiration.
That is friggin' fabulous! It's so different and reminds me of NYC. There is not a single idea in there that would ever have occurred to me to do. Really unique!
New to your channel and love your personality and creativity! It's wonderful to see your parents using their skills and enjoying helping you to bring your vision of your new home to fruition. So looking forward to seeing more of design, painting and projects. Greetings from Buffalo NY ❤️!
Hey Cynthia! I’m so happy you found me! Yes, my parents are AMAZING. They continue to work so hard on my home (as well as their own)! I couldn’t do it without them. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment. Glad you have you here! ❤️
I love the final result! You are very talented and inspiring, and your attention to detail is amazing. Closing the door and adding the mirror was a great idea, not only it looks bigger, the space now makes much more sense. Your home is coming along so nicely. Great job!
@@REISSUED you're welcome Andrew! I have been watching your videos and I really enjoy them and your creativity. You've done a massive work so far. I'll stay tuned to see your progress!
Wow it looks like something you would see in a an upscale restaurant very classy but personally fashioned. I can't even tell there used to be a door. Again great job to mom and dad too. You can tell they're so happy for you and happy to help you.
LOVE that fabric on the wall, adds a nice masculine touch to the other more elegant looking items that you picked out. You have such a great design aesthetic and such vision, so creative! I'm really enjoying watching what you create and how invested you are in the total outcome. Yeah, that bathroom was very small to video in; lots of butt shots lol! And please tell your mom that she's got some great looking legs! I'm looking forward to enjoying more progress videos.
I envy your half bath! Also your baseboards are same or really similar to my house but your door casings are different. My house is southern Ontario 1883 built 2 storey balloon framed.
Really great outcome. Love the sunken mirror. I wonder if you could put a leg of some sort on the corner drawers? I would worry someone would lean on it and tear the whole thing off - or does it feel quite sturdy? R
Thank you! The corner piece is quite sturdy since the wood framework of the bamboo piece was screwed directly into the wall studs. If we had just screwed through the thin backing into the plaster wall, it would be unstable 💯
Beautiful job! My half bath looks like a house of mirrors, there are mirrors everywhere, there's a giant Venetian mirror (which I love) on top of the mirrored walls, as my neice exclaimed "There's mirrors on mirrors!". There is even a mirror on the door so you can watch yourself! Whose genius idea was that? I love the faux leather, but I was thinking of doing something like that on the ceiling. This is giving me some great ideas!
Omg that sounds so cool! My original idea was to hang the sink on a fully mirrored wall. Layering over mirror is such an unexpected element. I love it!
@@REISSUED Its definitely interesting and gets lots of comments. If it was one wall it would be okay, but its all four walls and the door, which to me is a bit overkill.
I just discovered your channel yesterday and I absolutely love this makeover and especially the sink! It kind of reminds me of a wall fountain in Italy. Is that something you "reissued?"
Thanks Carol! So glad you found me! The sink came from a local shop that sells vintage pieces… so it was actually one of the most expensive items in the room! But I think it was worth it! 🙌🏻 Especially for the space saving element!
It looks lovely. May I ask how the single spigot/handle faucet works? Is it just cold H2O? Should a guest use the facilities, how do you prevent the cabinet drawer from coming out in the guests hand? I don't see a drawer track or a drawer stop. Again, it looks lovely.
Cool post. Nice choices on the finishes. Inspired by your cutting of the mirror. Question: What made you decide to keep the entrance on the kitchen side versus the living room side?
The plywood was wrapped with white solid surface counter… like Corian. I kinda glossed over it in the video since we were trying the solid surface gluing process for the first time and it was kinda stressful! Sorry about that!
@REISSUED thank you. Great minds think alike. I'm getting ready to do the same thing in my half bath and goggled who's done this before. As far as cleaning... a damp cloth?
Oh, I thought you were going to wood frame the entire mirror to the floor, with wood frame/ paneling and dark stain it, not drywall around/ below it. 😞
Love that you have mom and dad together with you and love you!!
It makes so much more sense to have closed off the extra door. Don't need a door from a powder room to the LR. It's a cute little room, nice personal touches and great ideas. Nicely done!
That sink is everything.
YOU ARE SUPER BLESSED TO HAVE SUCH LOVELY PARENTS ❤
Once again, NAILED it! Your parents are awesome.
Thanks Jackie! ❤️ Yes they are! They are doing so much for my porch makeover currently… I couldn’t do it without them!

Yes thrifting adds to much personality to a space… but also cuts costs tremendously - which I need! 😂😭

Andrew, what a great Half Bath! It is so nice to see how you, Mom and Dad work so well together. It's heartwarming.
Thank you so much Don! Yes I’m so grateful to have my parents on this journey with me! I don’t know what I’d do without them! ❤️

You just inspired me to revamp one of my bathrooms! You did a great job I realy love everything but the sink....I'm speechless. Love!
I love seeing how you adapt and make changes along the way!
Thanks Jo! Yeah balancing vision and flexibility has been a big thing on my house projects!
I like the idea with the mirrow...beautyful ❤
Great job & video. I don't know if I would have kept the half bath, but seeing the results, YES,
Ms. B. Churchill
Thank you so much! Yeah I hear ya… it was a bit odd before… but I’m so happy with the results!
Take a bow, it’s stunning 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Wait, I think I missed it. What did u do to the table top? You cut particle board, but how did u seal it?
The plywood was wrapped with white solid surface counter… like Corian. I kinda glossed over it in the video since we were trying the solid surface gluing process for the first time and it was kinda stressful! Sorry about that!
So clever
Where did you source that cute sweater?
It’s urban outfitters but I found it at Buffalo Exchange in nyc!
Do you follow Drew from lone fox? Or xoMakenna? Great diy channels
If u ever do subscriber makeovers and wanna visit Oregon, HOLLER ATCHA GURL 🙋🏻♀️ lol I’m a DIYer but I love your vision and creativity!!!!
