I keep coming back to this vid re watching it. I want one because it looks so great and its 8s. I dont think my 1480kv 6s Kraton is any smaller, maybe in length but its wider and is faster but something about the super rock rey... I put $1200 ish into my kraton and if i sold it and put that money (w/e i can get) into this RC, but i dont know... Wish there were more vids and reviews but i can wait i guess. I got $800 now but i dont want more then one RC. I would like to see this on straight off road speed runs to see how it drives on grass and dirt, im not into jumping, just speed off road and some on road. What i want in an RC is, on and off road speed, no 100+mph street speed run shit but still fast on and off road with power to rip the ground up and no wheelies doing so. The flipping on turns is bothersome but maybe wider tires would help, if you can put wider tires on it tho it would look better i think.
Fem Latra the kraton is awesome I have a talion and really want a kraton I’ll do some more videos on the super rock Rey once I fix it. I think with a few suspension adjustments it wouldn’t roll as much and like you said some different tires would probably help a lot. The super Baja Rey is very similar but way more stable and could probably be had for less money because it’s been out longer I’ve ran my sbr very hard and so far hasn’t had one broken part and it seems just as fast on 6s if not faster

KINAHEM the first thing I would do is check the steering trim on the controller, if that’s good check the servo saver assembly it might just need to be tightened up a little bit if everything is ok with that stuff you might have a bad servo

They make the website look safe and secure but lets be honest,it was way to good to be true. So i did some checking around until i figured out that this was all a phonie lie. I searched the direction of the "shops" provided on the website and they were all locations to random houses and motels,Not shops. Also its just with the rock rey. I saw another scam sight that was "selling" a trx4 bronco for $46. And i knew right away it was a lie. So please be careful,If you see an rc that went 100% lower than its original price point than its a scam. Unless its from an official hobby website that you have shopped before on that you know its a real site,Which im prety sure would never happen anyways. But please dont get scammed,be careful.👍

3:00 its actually bad that you cant slam the chassis on the ground it means when you jump rl hard all the force would go straight into shock caps probably busting them off. When while you can slam the chassis shocks will slow down the car but the force is distrubuted on the bigger area causing less damage. Rmember if elephant stomps on your feet you will most likely be fine but if a girl in high heels does it it will most likely pierce your feet to the ground its all about area you distribute force on.

CrawlerJamie the 1/10 scale would make a better crawler because it has a locked rear diff and because it’s smaller it’s more maneuverable but really for crawling a solid axle front is better. The new gen 8 redcat looks awesome I’m thinking about getting one
Brad Bozarth average cost is about 700 dollars and then you have to buy batteries and a charger so all together you’ll be into it for about one 1,000 dollars
Vincent Smet that’s a good idea I just checked the limit straps will fit but you’ll have to move your lower shock mounting bolt to the front hole because the limit strap bolts to the rear hole. With the shock in the forward position you’ll get more travel too but the suspension will be softer
Vincent Smet not sure I just checked and there’s nobody selling them yet. I would call horizon and ask them there’s 3 pieces that you need, the strap and the 2 mounting brackets that connect the strap to the frame and the trailing arm
The chassis us supposed to slap the ground it dissipates the energy when coming down from 15 feet in the air what a terrible design anybody who knows anything about rc Should know that.

Way better bottom load than the ten design like you said, I just cut the plastic battery holder part out of my tenacity and put in two battery straps.

Dude Drover about 10 minutes but it depends what kind of batteries you’re running, the higher the mah number the longer it will last

David Watkins it’s hard to say because the steering parts broke before the batteries ran out but I ran it for about twenty minutes before it broke
