I didn’t know that I could do this independently 😮 I worked as a dispatcher for 2.5 years for $12/hour. One week I was responsible for 32 trucks and negotiated $120,000.00 in revenue…for $12/hr 😞

@@cpass805 sounds great! As an OTR reefer driver, may I suggest that your client gets a reefer instead. With a reefer you can haul dry or refrigerated loads. Opens up a lot more freight😊

Something like, "hey, I know you might tired and ready to get out of here, but please take my goodie bag, has some snacks for the road and check out my business flyer in the bag when you get a chance. Saw this video with 777 comments… so this was definitely a sign for me. I’m a new city truck driver and I’m not caring for it. I do not want to try long haul at this point, so I’ve been heavily contemplating becoming a freight dispatcher and/or broker. I was even looking into it before I got my CDL. I’m going to just give it to god and take a leap of faith!
Anyone who has their own operating authority is considered a carrier. Owner operators are people who have their own truck, but leased to someone else's company. Independent dispatchers work with carriers. Company dispatcher may work with company drivers and dispatch for other carriers.

Good for you! Killing it. I've really been researching hard on starting my own business, watching many people and much content. It seems like a lot of people talk money as gross. No one talks about net after business expenses, taxes, insurance, etc. Can you elaborate on how many trucks that took and what your average net weekly is?
I have some questions 1. If am a dispatcher must I have a truck or all I need is to look for the carrier and the owner? 2. Do I need an LLC if I work as a dispatcher who doesn't have a truck or it's advisable to start with it? 3.How do I look for drivers if it happens that I have a load but not sure of the carrier? plz I need help I am so ready to start a new journey
1. You dont need a truck to be a dispatcher, you look for owner operators who have their own truck 2. You can start dispatching without a LLC but its recommended to have your business set up (LLC, business bank account, etc.) 3. If you have a load but no driver, you can post loads on social media to find someone to take the load or post on one of many load boards *hope this helps! ❤️

I just stumbled on your channel. I started my company not too long ago and did well in 2020 but slowly went from booming with 8 drivers to 2 drivers 😭. And now Im struggling to get back up to at least 5 drivers. Good info, thanks for sharing!

I have some questions
1. If am a dispatcher must I have a truck or all I need is to look for the carrier and the owner?
2. Do I need an LLC if I work as a dispatcher who doesn't have a truck or it's advisable to start with it?
3.How do I look for drivers if it happens that I have a load but not sure of the carrier? plz I need help I am so ready to start a new journey
1. You dont need a truck to be a dispatcher, you look for owner operators who have their own truck
2. You can start dispatching without a LLC but its recommended to have your business set up (LLC, business bank account, etc.)
3. If you have a load but no driver, you can post loads on social media to find someone to take the load or post on one of many load boards

There’s several places to find and book loads. Load boards are the most common tool used to book loads🍀 I have more content coming soon that will answer this question more in depth & many more! Make sure to subscribe & turn on the post notification 🍀

I actually started because I lost my job due to Covid & I literally had to sink or swim because I moved to another city. When I first started I still maintained a full time job. I used to literally to go the bathroom & dispatch.

My husband's cousin is a broker but has never told us about this side of the house and my dang brother has done this type of work as well.
