Even though Halo 2 is my favorite game in the series, I won't lie saying I think Halo 3 is the BEST halo game, not my favorite but definitely the best, a lot of stuff about this game was just about perfect. The problems were for the most part very minor, and even though it's not my favorite multiplayer, I can say with certainty that this game had the best campaign in the entire series, it just fires off on all cylinders so correctly along with concluding the original trilogy with a very heartfelt ending, I could literally think of no other way this trilogy would end. Long story short, this game just nailed so much, and I think it's one of the best games ever to be released because of that.

lol I had at least 2 360's with the 3 red rings of death and one with the one red ring. I can look back on it now and laugh but man it was so frustrating back then
@@glp I had a broken Halo 3 disc. It would always take at least 5 tries to get it to work, and my faulty 360 would occasionally crash any of my games sometimes so I feel ya

It’s hard to believe that I still get that same feeling when we hear the epilogue cutscenes. Bungie truly did good with this game. Hopefully 343 can create similar feelings with Infinite. Hopefully...

My cousin and I tried to play Halo 3 once. We never got very far because first we killed all the marines. Then we didn't know where to go so we started killing each other
The problem is how well the original game was polished. If they were to remaster it, it really wouldn't look much better than the original. If not polished well enough with lighting and everything, there's a chance it could have looked worse.

Halo 3 has dinamic lights and shadows, has plant movement, wind effects, every weapon has tons of particules and effects, the vehicles have damage degradation, add that Halo 3 is the most varied game in the series, every level is different than the one before, so they would not be able to reuse the new assets. And all of it in 2007! So, no, remastering Halo 3 in modern gaming it’s a friking titanic effort. Does it deserve it? Yes. Is it going to happen? Not likely

Probably the game I've played the most ever. From doing custom games like Jenga or race tracks, to social slayer to trying to get 50's on ranked. The fun on this game was endless.

Xperia, late night gaming and Greenskull’s all had interviews with 343 and they confirmed the whole ring is explorable, then we are already getting pretty iconic dialogs like my new favorite: Light a fire in your heart spartan! Bare your fangs!.. fight hard... die well 2. For a demo, he flew pretty good
Jeremy Mincey yet it’s Zeta halo meaning that the flood is back, and terminals plus other confirmed/ potentials for lore exploration does grant a good game... Plus, FLYING SUICIDE GRUNTS!!!!
@@MasterHall117 then again they are a couple of things stacked against halo infinite such as replacing the shot gun and magnum, two of the most iconic weapons in halo with the bulldog and the sidekick, may alienate older fans of the series. plus changing the warthogs classic aggressive growl with a new less aggressive and less intimidating purr kind of takes away a bit of style points, though i do suppose that this judging a game either way this early is a bit unfair.
How about Halo (Complete Saga) V3 cause Halo Wars 2 already came out one or something years ago, wait until Halo: Infinite comes out and come together of Halo (Complete Saga V3)
It's definitely on my radar. We also have Halo 2 and 3 Director's cuts to add and I'd want to redo the Halo Reach Director's Cut. I was initially waiting for Halo 6/Infinite and itt was just delayed over and over again
Halo 2 is “anniversary” which in the halo universe/timeline makes it one of the most significant games. The cutscenes and the game were upgraded completely so that the current halo fan base can fully appreciate it as the masterpiece the game is. CE and 2 were upgraded and released through the Master Chief Collection. It also introduces us to 2 significant beings in the halo universe; the arbiter and the gravemind.
@@alec_818 also with it being produced like a Hollywood Movie, Halo 2 truly deserved that remaster. That story, dialogue and scenes are unmatched from anything in the series, that even in remaster, Halo 3 doesn't come close to perfection that Halo 2 brought to the table

But if you're wondering what happened to it, you can see the ruins of the city on the horizon during the levels 'The Storm' and 'Floodgate.' Those levels take place on the complete opposite end of the crater where Mombasa is.
Just imagine the sheer fear that a grunt would feel if you saw Master Chief - a force of absolute hell that has garnered a massive name on both sides, and is feared by basically all of the covenant - just begin FLYING over to you. Not even jet pack or vehicle assisted, just levitating through sheer force of will alone.

They really should have remastered this game. They shouldn’t have stopped remastering after halo 2.
Well, it’s a difficult thing to remaster, it’s on the borderline of old and on the borderline of new, so that’s probably why they can’t.
