I'm not part of the exclusive Raven Guard fan club, but I do respect them for their devotion to "bird." They know what they're about without going into silly territory like 30k Iron Hands, famously lead by a man named Iron Hands who has iron hands and decided to name his legion Iron Hands. Raven Guard get a solid 8/10 in my book
Corvus Corax would be an incredible model now that you say that. Great video, think Kayvaan is a great character (possibly a very biased opinion...) Would love to see more Raven Guard stuff even though their lore is no where near as deep enough as it should be.

Like he is an important character, but the Raven Guard is a pretty ignored chapter and don't have that much big books about them. Something I really want them to go around fixing. Especially because I would argue they need to start elevating Raven Guard, along with White Scars, as presences in the WH40k universe as I'm kind of guessing either one of the their primarchs is coming back next.

Okay brother, you have my subscription. Raven Guard is by far the best and most interesting legion in my opinion. I love any and all videos involving them and you have a very interesting pick for most humble guy. I do agree with you, but im also a massive Nykona sharrowkyn fanboy and while some of his actions are considered to be mainly humble, he is also very honorable and selfless and driven by his duty towards the imperium and his legion. I look forward to going back and watching all your videos and any more content you make. This video was awesome !
Could really do with GW writing more Raven Guard lore. They don't have a ton of notable characters but the ones they DO have (Corvus, Sharrowkyn, Shrike) are so insanely fucking dope - let's get more stuff about the chapter in general
I just found your channel, and I'm relatively new to warhammer. Having started in January. I loved and chose raven guard even if it wasn't all too powerful in 9th, shrike being my first model. Now I still play a facet of the raven guard in a custom chapter I flesh the lore for day by day, called the Adepts of the Raven who's goal is an eternal crusade to find Corvus and Bring him back to the imperium.
@glueboy thanks. I take a more narrative approach to all my games, and for such, I've taken to craft the story of the chapter. From its home system to its more frequent foes. I have trials, characters, and stories behind them all, which were cultivated from my learning journey in playing the tabletop. Sometimes, I like to look for other custom chapters to see what other creative minds do.
By the way, on the favorite chapter master list, I'm kind of surprised that Dante wasn't listed there. Not just because he is a dope character in his own right, but he is also the kind of a character usually preferred here.
@@glueboy I get that, I was the same before reading the Devastation of Baal. And even as hilariously clumsy as Dante was, there was still somethign stellar about the character even there. Still nto a huge fan of the chapter, but really dig the character.
Funnily enough: Theres also that one jackwagon, whos name escapes me, that got sent to the Death Guard to "cool off" (he still hasnt if my memory serves correctly) that would be a good candidate if he wasn't, well, a jackwagon. Also my fingers are still crossed for Nykona coming back. That man is an absolute *UNIT.*

i reeeealy wanna see a meeting between Kayvaan Shrike and Logan Grimnar , their fathers Corvus and Russ were good friends and Russ actually thought Corvus some fenrisian , Logan saved the people from Armageddon so he cares for everyday imperal citizen just the same as Shrike . Logan would definitely be grateful to the raven guard that saved his father when they were cornered back in the heresy and would see in Shrike a great warrior. If those 2 chapters would do a coop mission one sentence witch strikes fear in the enemy hearts : Space wolfs in front , Raven guard in the back. The enemies of the Empire would tremble. also a fellow wh40k fan sad in the comments of some lost to YT algorithm that tau does not have plot armor , if you outstealth a raven guard , the chapter master nonetheless , you have plot armor
The gene seed is just the term for the Progenoid Glands. Its responsible for the other Space Marine organs to grow in a new Marine. The reason its so fought over is cause the tech to create them is long since lost, and the Primarchs arent around anymore to give their genetic material. So even if they could be made everyone but current Ultramarines and Dark Angels are shit out of luck.
@@glueboy oh its you, great channel btw. the Lightning seems to be on point. your issue is that your not using LUT on your editing software thats why the color looks pale. S-LOG or D-LOG is designed to give you max color range but you need to pull that using the LUT in davinci or premier.
That sounds about right, I'll have to show this to my buddy who is more well versed in that field than I am. I went to school for this and all but color related stuff was my worst subject lol. Thanks!

I just used Shrike and a 10 man assault squad in 10th, it was awesome he is so tricky. gotta love it. Great stuff Glueboy!
