- Will and Kate are a couple who have been through a lot together. They faced infidelity 10 years ago that almost destroyed their marriage. But through it all, they've come out stronger than ever.
In a recent interview, Will opened up about how he developed an alternate personality of a hidden, secret life. He said that he was feeling lost and insecure, and that he turned to other women for the validation he was looking for. Kate said that she was absolutely devastated when she found out about the affair, but she was determined to find her own healing no matter what path Will chose to take.
Will was broken and finally felt FREE from the prison he was living in, however the news of infidelity put Kate in a prison she didn't ask for. They knew they could not do this on their own, so they brought in family friends to mentor and work them through the pain and the road ahead of healing.
The couple said that the key to their healing was communication. They talked about everything that had happened, and they worked together to rebuild trust, which they share in the interview. They also said that it was important to forgive themselves and each other.
Will and Kate's story is a reminder that even the strongest relationships can be tested. But if you're willing to work through the tough times, anything is possible.

I lived like this for 18 years. Constantly having things come up, him lie until finally his boss called to tell me she & he were happy a years long affair, & he had an affair with my neighbor as well. We have 4 children, I had to stay in the relationship, he knew I was staying bc I had no choices. 5 years later I'm in the marriage because I want to be.
Sometimes I think "somewhere someone is finding out for the first time " & I pray & pray. It was the most horrible time

My wife won't ever change, she is married to me, but she is on her 3rd boyfriend this year already, I saw videos of her having sex with another man on her phone and it was so traumatizing, I don't think she will change anytime soon. What catalyzed all this was my addiction to pornography, which I am still struggling with.

Please, please do what you need to do. My husband was secretly addicted to porn before we met. His first affair was two years in our marriage. I always felt there was an undercurrent in our marriage. Don’t do what my husband did. At 69 years old, he told me he had been unfaithful close to 200 times with 5 different women. I am now 71 and still trying to heal. DO SOMETHING NOW!

I’m 45 and my husband has been unfaithful for 21 years! We separated twice, I’ve had dreams over the years; I found out last two times in 2017, but in December of 2023 I found out how deep the lies had gone with so many women.

He had Madonna-Who’re syndrome also, so at 32 he said he couldn’t have sex with me anymore, because it would be like sleeping with his sister. I shut down at that point due to my damaged past with two abortions. I thought we were in a celibate marriage, but I found out at 69 that HE wasn’t. I was LIVID! PTSDs still. But I’ve gotten so much closer to God during all this. My husband cannot believe he could have done it all and is so sorry. Porn addiction ruined our marriage. You either have sex or make love; he only knew how to have sex.

Don’t wait for 10 years…I’ll just say that. Sometimes the Lord does NOT restore for His own reason. I pray your marriage gets restored ONLY if your husband comes back healed and KNOWING that he is upsetting the Lord by abandoning you.

I can't put a time limit on God. God's covenant doesn't run out. If I had a son or daughter lost in the wilderness would I only pray for ten years and then move on with my life and get another son or daughter?
Marriage is for life...Is that not what the Lord had said? Do I not believe if this world was obedient to the Lord we would not be in the predicament we are in? People on their 2, 3, or 4 marriages...homes without a father. Children with many different fathers. No stability. We need to get on our knees and pray for our spouses not give up on them and Search for another one. We need to stop picking and choosing which parts of the living word we want to obey and start obeying ALL of HIS words!!!

Heavenly Father, in Ps 57:1 it says In the shadow of your wings, I will trust. God I am having such a hard time trusting right now. My spouse doesn’t want this marriage and I need hope in you! Ezek 34:28 says I will dwell in safety; nothing shall make me afraid. Thank you for reminding me that it’s only in you I find safety, not in my relationships here on earth. Help me to look to you!
I am crying out to you for restoration in my marriage. I need you God! Please reveal anything I need to repent of Lord that would be blocking my relationship with you and authority over evil. (Pause and listen)
Please forgive me of this Father. Forgive me for trying to control my spouse. Forgive me for looking to other things and people before you. I release all bitterness and resentment to you God. Thank you for forgiving me and showing me grace when I don’t deserve it.
Romans 12:21 says I will not be overcome with evil, but I will overcome evil with good! So Right now I come against all marriage breaking spirits in my marriage and I cast you out in Jesus name! I renounce all sexual sin that I have been involved with in the past in the name of Jesus. I release the fire of God to burn out all ungodly lust from my marriage in the name of Jesus. I break all curses of adultery, perversion, fornication, and lust in Jesus name. I break off any spirits of loneliness that would drive my spouse to an ungodly sexual relationship in the name of Jesus. I cancel all the plans and forces sent against my family in Jesus name. Acts 19:12- Let evil spirits be cast out in Jesus name!
I take authority over my thoughts and bind all spirits of pride and victimization in Jesus name. In Daniel 10:13 it says your angels will fight for me in the heavens against principalities.
Matt 4:11 it says you will send your angels to minister to me God. Please Send your angels to deliver my spouse from evil in Jesus name. Father, keep my spouse from all evil. Protect them from any more sin and do whatever it takes God to get their attention. Please clothe my spouse in humility like it says in 1 Peter 5:5. I bind Satan the deceiver, ( rev. 12:9) from releasing this deception into my marriage. Evil spirits leave my life as I hear and speak the word of God from Matt 8:16. I cut the cords of the wicked from my marriage like it says in Ps 129:4. I break down every wall of Jericho from Josh 6:5 and declare that my marriage will be restored in Jesus name. I declare that my spouse will find their path home according to your best will Jesus. Please send your light and truth, and lead us as you make darkness flee.
Give me the strength to endure the pain. Please pour out an abundance of wisdom to me during this time as I navigate life and decisions ahead of me. Give me patience as I wait on you Lord, even when I can’t see you are working. I speak to every mountain in my marriage and command it to be removed and cast into the sea like it says in Mark 11:23. These mountains are no longer blocking the way for restoration in my marriage and I praise and thank you in advance for the healing that’s ahead. In Jesus name, amen.

Why do cheaters have excuses for their actions
Because cheaters are much like murderers, liars, thieves, gossipers, gluttony- when we miss the mark we have a choice of being personally responsible for our actions or not. And those of us who are cowards in our sin will be victims and shift blame. Blame and victimization all started in Genesis 3:10.

Those who save their life's will loose it but those who loose their lives will find it. You died to self hopefully not just for your marriage but for Christ. Forsaking life of sin no matter the cost doing that for Christ and to gain Him is everything! Praise God. I hope to follow Christ and not be a hypocrite. Please pray for my family and spouse. My situation is very similar, I know my husband was lying, that he COULDN'T tell me the truth so I could never believe him. Eventually I left hoping he would realize the seriousness of what he was doing but instead he divorced me and moved in with an old girlfriend. I pray he finds the freedom that this man has.
