I think at some point there were concepts for Legion priestess' as well. Which is also another major aspect of the Legion that gets heavily slept on, their religion. Besides Lanius' mask being made in the visage of Mars, the god of war, there barely seems to be anything else besides worshipping daddy Caesar.
And to be entirely fair, the Legion has a very utilitarian view of men as well. Unless you think suicide charging in a human wave is somehow less dehumanizing than being a mother

I just want to make a note on Starfield sales. When I was building my current computer it was impossible to avoid getting Starfield with the purchase of an AMD GPU. I dont know if it was a global curse but I think it helped bloat Starfield´ sales-figures somewhat. I just waited a month and therefore got a good deal on a Top-of-The-Line (Then) last gen GPU.

PiRat situation could have possibly been prevented if he used his robes and mana gem to get shit tons of mana and actually use his classes incredibly broken CC to sheep, root and slow the mobs. Sure he couldn't do that to the boss but they could have at least taunt the boss so the healer could catch his breath and heal. The point being that PiRat could have done literally anything and all he did was sit next to the instance and watched his teammates die. This coming form the guy who touts how good he is at his class and how great it is to have a mage when things go south.

Chris Avellone mostly worked on FNV DLCs (directed them), and was just one of the writers/designers of base FNV. I have no idea why you think he touched everything in FNV - he definitely contributed plenty (the first scene, Cass etc), but no more than any other writer, and definitely less than Gonzales. Avellone's contribution to the DLCs was disproportionally large, though. (and as far as other FOs go, he only helped out a bit in FO2)
He was one of the lead designers of Van buren, and most concepts of that game (the legion for example) were brought to Fallout NV because of him. I also think people just like his content in general, and assume he's behind most of whats good. See, i think he's so prominent in discussions about NV because he interacts with it, and people know he thinks like us. I dont really mind people pointing him (just as any developer of any game) as an important figure for the development, and the final result, I think thats just a consequence of being active in the community. Gonzallez did a ton of work, but his reserved nature of working in the game, and not paying much attention to the Fallout community, as Avellone or Sawyer does, makes people forget him, because to them, sadly, hes just a name in the credits. Thats why its important to bring yourself to the public, and make them see the game as a collection of minds working together. If only two people are out there, talking to the community, expressing their work, the idea is that only these two devs really care about Fallout, when in reality it may just not be true.
Sawyer and Avellone are well known names at Obsidian, so they end up getting disproportionate credit. It's funny Pat falls into the Avellone trap when in his morrowind and oblivion videos he spent a not insignificant amount of time breaking the illusion that Micheal Kirkbride wrote everything. I'm sure he'll do the same for New Vegas, and give proper credit to Gonzalez, and correctly credit Avellone for the DLCs (which were overwhelmingly pretty bad in terms of Fallout New Vegas content) edit: Seeing a few people in the chat praise Avellone to high heaven for 'Fallout' as a franchise is more of that Kirkbride wrote morrowind shit. Avellone worked on Fallout 2, a tonally inconsistent mess that adds more awful lore than good. And the original outline for Van Buren is not great, New Vegas is not Van Buren, it borrows ideas, but look up Van Buren, that game wouldn't have been good.

I also think the areas that Avellone touched in Fallout 2 were some of the most consistent: New reno, and vault city for example. We cant blame the guy for every mishap in tone on Fallout 2 because it would be just as unfair as claiming he is the sole writer for everything. Of the new vegas DLCS, i dont think they're that bad, specially when you compare them to most DLC in bethesda post Fallout 3. The characters in dead money are very interesting, something that cant be said for samurai and cowboy in mothership zeta, whose only purpose is to be the cowboy and the samurai.
