Can Walbernize Super Seal be used on *all* exterior surfaces of the Airstream? What about windows, plastic parts and rubber trim? If so, does it affect how or when Aerospace Protectant must be used on gaskets? Thanks in advance for clarification on these points and for recording this helpful how-to video.
Walbernize is used on all exterior Metal with the exception of the roof , not glass (rain-x ) , rubber trim and seals you can use 303 protectant stock. window seals you can also use Spray Silicone on a rag to wipe window seals.
Thank you for the additional info and product recommendations. For the roof, then, just keep it washed-no wax or other protectant needed? Ours is a 16’ Base Camp. We have found so much conflicting advice-including to walbernize everything-it is confusing.
May I use the soft brush instead of microfiber mitt or rag to wash with the grain of the metal? It seems like the soft brush would be much faster. Very helpful for a newbie Airstream owner, thank you.
I mixed 1 ounce of #43 with 1 gallon of water and then utilizig the soap dispenser on my 2000 PSI electric pressure washer with a black tip siphoned the mixture from the dispenser. I didn't get nearly the suds as shown in the video. Where did I go wrong? I also noticed that in this video going with the grain is recommended but they have another video using a circular motion. For cars I always use a circular motion when detailing - is circular OK?
you might not have used enough cleaner or too much PSI power on your washer. And we always recommend going with the grain and not in a circular motion. You want to avoid micro scratches at all costs.
I was unaware of the “grain” in the aluminum. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful.
Chris fantastic presentation
Glad you enjoyed it!
If you’ll be in your airstream liveaboard, how frequently does it need to be washed?
We would recommend at least monthly.
Thanks. This video was helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Chris. How often is wash & seal necessary? Couple times per season enough?
Just use a leaf blower to dry
Great idea.
Ty so much for these vids! Five rivets! ⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️
Glad you like them!

How often should you actually use the sealant?
At least once a year.
Can you use mother's to shine trailer
Chris did a great job. The only thing missing was the setting/nozzle for power washing…🥴
Thank you for the feedback,

Yes you can!
Like the short and to the point RV tips. Can you do one on Brake check and wheel bear check?
Thanks Brian. Good suggestion.
Please identify the Soft Brush model, can't find it on your Part's store. Thanks
We may not have the same on in stock now, please call our parts department for more information. 1-800-265-9019
so the washing process... you're using a sprayer? do you take a hand-mitt to the A/S after spraying it with soap?
Chris, that can also be done.

That is a yoga workout!
Sure is
I should have watched this earlier. Paid 2k today to have my airstream detailed
You are ready for next time.
I would have done it for half that. 😎
If someone is paying $2k to have their Airstream detailed, they are not the same person that will detail it themself.
Walgrenize?
WALBERNIZE
Wax on... wax off. 👍🏼
True.
@@colonialairstream - I was making a “Karate Kid” reference. LOL!
