We have a Basecamp and that's a lot of work to wash. Can't imaging doing one the size of yours. Thanks for the leaf blower tip. Will definitely be trying that next time.

The best part of a dirty Airstream is that you’re using it to travel and make memories. Hope the leaf blower tip works for you. Safe travels.

What I need is a wash brush that doesn’t come unscrewed from the pole when using it.

I had previously tried using my air compressor but the nozzle couldn’t provide the volume of air that was needed to dry the AS. It was a trip to the local car wash that gave me the leaf blower idea 💡

Hello! Great job cleaning your hair stream travel trailer I had left. I think a couple of messages regarding your your reaction and review of the air safe 2100 airhead. I was curious how that did The air safe hitch and how is it working for you? You still have not made a update that I see at least. Hey this is Stuart in Naples Florida and I'm using my wife's TH-cam channel. Thank you. Yeah how is the air safe hitch?

Hi Stuart…I sent you a response to your initial AirSafe hitch question. It is posted in our Rome video comments. We still plan on making a follow up video on the AirSafe hitch…just been busy getting everything ready for our next road trip.

We had ceramic coating put on our trailer by the dealer but they don't do "everything". There's no way to tell what was done or not. Last year I washed with Meguiars wash, wiped it down with Wash Wax All, and then applied a coat of regular Walbernize Super Seal. That was a long two day process and my shoulders took a beating. This year I've switched to the Walbernize One Step and I would say the results look promising. I've been using on my cars, too. It leaves a noticeable shine even on the plastics and the surface feels like it's been waxed. I can't tell if it's the same as being waxed or how long it will last. Water definitely beads up on it. Our rig sits out all winter, so I suspect I might put a coat of Super Seal on it one nice day in October. Thanks for another great video!

Love the bucket on the floor creeper. We just washed our Classic earlier this week using Meguiar's Ultimate Wash & Wash using the mop and microfiber rag method. Unfortunately, I ended up with hard water spots which will be a pain to remove. I even have the battery powered leaf blower in the front bunker but never thought to use it to dry the Airstream. Thanks for the great tips. As always, safe travels.

This is the cleaning method my hubby has done for years. He dries our Airstream with a fan tip on the air compressor. It’s been a game changer. We haven’t tried the one step product yet though, maybe next time. Please keep us posted as to how well it holds up compared to the manually applied Walbernize. Thanks.

Thanks for watching. I’m curious as well to see how the One Step works long-term. But even if it only last a few months it will still be quicker and much easier to reapply than the “wax on / wax off” method 🤣

So what is the verdict on the airsafe hitch? I'd love to hear cuz I'm about to purchase one. Maybe please give a response. It would be very kind of you and I think I also sent you an email????????????????

@@cynthiabrandt679 Hi Cynthia…thanks for your question. So far we have been very happy with the AirSafe Hitch. In the coming weeks, we are heading out on another months long RV trip and we will continue to assess how well it performs day after day. We have had no issues using the AirSafe hitch with our Reese WD system. I assume it would work just as well with either the Blue Ox or the Equalizer WD system. I have heard that some RVers are using the AirSafe Hitch without a WD system. We can’t speak to that option. Overall, our biggest negatives for the AirSafe hitch would be its weight and the cost. If you can handle the weight of the hitch (100+ lbs) and if the cost fits in your budget, I would say the AirSafe Hitch is a great option for an improved towing experience with your RV. I hope this helps…Safe travels.

    • @thewrightlife

I bought one from Greenworks but didn’t really like it at the end of the pressure washer wand. Since washing the airstream I bought a pistol grip foam cannon off Amazon. Haven’t tried the new one yet but think it might work better.

I like your approach. And it is pretty much the same way I was our Airstream. I use Adams Polishes Mega foam, it foams better than what you were showing. It really leaves a great shine and beads water. I would say it is superior to the Wabenizer product. Also I have a Makita battery powered backpack sprayer that I use for just the vehicles. I use RODI water from the house to do a spot free rinse before using the blower to dry off the Airstream. The windows and everything never have water spots because of the Spot free rinse, just like the bay car washes.

I like your approach. Two observations:
    1. The roof probably needs some kind of UV protection, so it should probably be waxed.
    2. Drying with a blower works great if you have soft water. Where I live, I need to dry it with a towel or chamois to prevent white droplet marks left by the calcium salt in the water.

    • @thewrightlife
      @thewrightlife  หลายเดือนก่อน

Great tip on the UV protection for the roof. As for our water, we are fortunate that it isn’t too hard. Safe travels.

For the doubters, you blow leaves it creates dust, air gets sucked in the side and blown out the front. Dust collects inside the fan. Take a look.
