Thanks so much. I was curious of those goal HRs that you referenced towards the end of the video. Ive been using similar levels so that gives me confidence. Thank you.
Great tempo run! Maybe eventually you can get to how you fuel during the run and how much electrolytes before/during a race? Carbs & Sodium amounts? It seems that has been the struggle for me in my past 2 marathons and I hope at LB Marathon I can get through without hitting the wall so hard with cramps!
hi brian! 1 run to focus on developing fat burning system. split runs to focus on speed and form when fatigued. we've been at 75 to 85 miles for several months now, so we are very used to volume. kids like to bang out the easy runs in one go when it's cool in the am.
Hey MK. I'm sure you probably know this, but you can reset your zones on Strava fairly easily. You might not need or want to, but just in case someone else does. I used my numbers from an all out 10k from the spring for my maxHR and let the low HR float with my daily number at sleep. Not necessarily needed, but nice to know if the stats are important for someone who hasn't been running forever.
Ya'll are killing it out there! I am curious how did you determine your aerobic threshold 👀? You got a pretty high VT1 which means you're pretty good at burning fat. PS: fresh cut Cole! 1
i was asked about my heart rate during tempo runs and how i use HR to determine when to break tempo runs and how long to float during the broken intervals.
@@allheartrc ah ok…. those ones and the other blade style single lense ones look like some of the “new” 80’s sci-fi movie styles Goodr has launched recently…. 😏

I will talk about it in Tuesday's video!
Thanks for the tips again! Have you all considered doing two runs a day given all the high mileage?

thanks haitham! i determine my aerobic threshold based on effort and time. it is the HR that i can sustain more than 2 hours of activity.
which HR?

@@allheartrc i meant which HR device hehe...GARMIN?
@@tadejdanev5030 haahaha! sorry tadej! i use an old Garmin Chest Strap HRM. I recommend the Polar H10.
What's that about heart rate? Sorry, I was distracted by all the new Goodr styles MK has been sporting lately..... 😎🧐🤓🥸
haha! i busted out some of my old shades. these are from blenders.
